Hi, I'm Dr. Joycelyn Anderson — but most people just call me Dr. J. I've spent over 16 years walking alongside people through the moments that reshape who they are: a big move, a new role, a strained relationship, a season of just feeling stuck. I started my career in K-12 schools and eventually opened Evolution of Life Wellness and Counseling, PLLC, because I wanted to work with people across every stage of that journey—not just one chapter of it. A few years ago, I relocated, and it taught me something I now bring into every session: change doesn't just rearrange your circumstances; it can quietly unsettle your sense of self. I know what it's like to feel like you're starting over, and I know that healing rarely happens in a straight line. I bring a whole-person approach to our work together—your mind, your body, your relationships, your faith, if that matters to you, and your story all belong in the room. I'll never ask you to leave parts of yourself at the door. My style is warm but direct; I'll walk with you gently, and I'll also tell you the truth when it matters. Outside of sessions, I'm someone who still believes in slow mornings and good conversation. I host a podcast called The Evolving Mosaic, where I talk about identity, belonging, and the beautiful, messy process of becoming. If you're considering therapy, I know that first step can feel like a lot. I hope that by the time we meet, it already feels a little less like starting with a stranger and more like continuing a conversation.

Feeling lost in the chaos of life or the tough stuff most therapists won’t touch? Tired of therapy feeling like a cliché? Not here. And if you’ve made it here, you’re probably not looking for surface-level therapy and you’re in the right place! Hi, My name is John’Neiska "JoJo" Williams and I am a licensed professional counselor in the states TX, GA LA, CO, SC, and ID and I can assure you, you’ve come to the right place. I specialize in working with high-functioning adult women who are managing careers, parenting, relationships, and responsibilities on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, or stuck on the inside. Many of my clients struggle with emotional intensity, black-and-white thinking, or feeling pulled between extremes while trying to make sense of themselves and their experiences. I believe healing happens when the mind and body are in the same conversation. Some moments require us to stay present, while others require us to explore how past experiences are still showing up in your life today. I work best with individuals experiencing high-functioning anxiety or ADHD, and Borderline personality disorder. I am also trained and experienced in working with other personality and dissociative disorders. Therapy isn’t just venting and I’m not here for small talk. I have a laid-back vibe, but make no mistake I’m here to challenge, teach, and help you grow with real change. No clichés, no endless “How does that make you feel?” That’s why I incorporate behavioral and specialized approaches, including Ketamine Assisted psychotherapy, creative expressive play, and counterintuitive skills, all tailored to fit your needs. So if you’re tired of basic coping, ready to understand your patterns, and open to doing deeper, active work, this space was created for you. Let me help you find the power of the grey area.

As human beings, our experiences are unique to us. We experience and view the world from our lens, which impacts how we perceive ourselves and others. Unfortunately, because we are all unique, people around us also develop perceptions about us which may not be an accurate representation of who we are or our true intentions. Sometimes, our perceptions lead to miscommunication and misconceptions; thereby impacting our ability to connect and develop healthy relationships. Typically, perceptions are based on our experiences and our experiences are not always favorable or pleasant. Occasionally, our experiences are traumatic and abusive. For some, trauma and abuse occur so regularly that it becomes the norm and ultimately impacts social, interpersonal, and intimate relationships. Counseling is the process of becoming awakened to our true selves to better understand how our personal experiences influence who we are. Our personal experiences are impacted by our family of origin, racial and cultural/ethnic group, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc. Because many aspects of one’s life may be explored, including childhood experiences, the process of counseling may feel uncomfortable and intrusive, at times. However, it is important to trust the process and know that every counseling session will not feel good. There are times that as a client, you may feel sad or hurt and become tearful; you may be excited and feel happy; you may be confused and feel hopeless. However, know that in the end, if you trust the process, you will hopefully learn something new about yourself that you never considered. Thus, leading to fulfillment in your life in areas including your relationships and family dynamics that ultimately, enhance your self-worth.

Hi there, I'm Tonya. Do you feel like you need someone to talk to but feel like no one understands you? Carl Rogers said, “We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. I am committed to creating a space where the client feels seen and heard. I have a unique counseling style that allows clients to quickly engage in the therapeutic process. Helping clients find a deeper understanding of themselves is my focus. I guide the client through their journey of self-awareness with cognitive restructuring combined with a person-centered approach. Do you feel overwhelmed and mentally depleted? Our thoughts, emotions, and behavior are guided by our internal compass. Sometimes we need to check our compass and make sure we are going in the right direction. This internal compass is the lens through which we see ourselves, and the world and influences our decisions. A shift in the thought process opens the door for healing and clarity of thought. I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can gain the self-awareness you need to work through your struggles and move forward with your life. Let's work together!

I'm Kemi, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes real change starts with feeling truly heard. Since middle school, I've been the person others turn to for encouragement, so becoming a therapist felt less like a career change and more like coming home to it. I bring warmth, honesty, and a steady presence into every session, paired with clinical training in CBT, Internal Family Systems, and culturally responsive care. My goal isn't to hand you a script — it's to help you see your own strength clearly enough to use it.

I’m Mariam Saibu, a somatic mental health therapist specializing in women’s mental health and the unique ways trauma, stress, and mood challenges show up in both mind and body. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering space where you can begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself. I hold a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and maintain specialized licenses in trauma, addiction, and vocational counseling. Over the years, I’ve worked in inpatient, outpatient, and state agency settings, providing care for children, adolescents, and adults. These experiences gave me the opportunity to treat a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, self-esteem struggles, substance use, and career transitions. I have also supported individuals on the autism spectrum in building social and behavioral skills to thrive in both employment and relationships. While I have worked with diverse populations, my passion lies in supporting women—particularly those navigating trauma, mood dysregulation, and life changes. I am licensed to practice in Georgia and Texas. I integrate my background in both biology and counseling to take a holistic approach to care. By weaving together somatic practices with evidence-based therapies, I help clients address how trauma and stress impact the body as well as the mind. In our work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and respect. My role is to walk alongside you, providing tools and insight to help you move forward while creating a safe environment for growth. Whether you’re seeking to manage trauma, improve mood and self-esteem, or find clarity in life’s transitions, I am here to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with over two years of professional counseling experience. I work with individuals facing stress, anxiety, parenting challenges, low self-esteem, motivation concerns, and confidence issues. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can build on your strengths to help you overcome life's challenges. Before becoming a counselor, I spent many years as an educator, giving me valuable insight into the unique pressures and demands faced by teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, counselors, and other educational professionals. I understand the emotional toll that workplace stress, burnout, and balancing personal and professional responsibilities can have, and I am passionate about helping education professionals prioritize their mental well-being. I am also committed to supporting individuals who are considering or undergoing plastic or bariatric surgery. I understand that these life-changing decisions involve more than physical transformation—they also bring emotional, psychological, and relational adjustments. My goal is to help clients develop a healthy relationship with their bodies, navigate body-image concerns, and build the emotional resilience needed for lasting success. In addition, I specialize in working with postpartum depression and relationship concerns. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I incorporate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and person-centered therapy, to help clients develop practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. Seeking counseling is a courageous step, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Whether you're working through anxiety, adjusting to a major life transition, strengthening relationships, or striving for personal growth, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals and improve your overall quality of life.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
