Hey there, I'm Brandy. Are you overwhelmed and feel like life is a bit out of control? Do you miss the joy and contentment that used to fill your life? I'd like to help you work on the struggles you are facing; and offer you a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings, a place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. I have been described as supportive, caring, compassionate, laid back, and with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. My background in healthcare, working with individuals and families, allows me to approach clients from a holistic view. I incorporate physical health with emotional wellbeing. I share valuable techniques on how to be present, see the important things in your world, and maximize your benefits from the resources available to you.
I have been a therapist since 2000 and licensed since 2008. I work primarily with young to middle aged and older adults now. I also have worked extensively with children ages 7 and older. I will work with you to explore thoughts, feelings, and problems on a more internal and psychological level which I believe has a longer lasting impact while still clearing up the more overt behaviors. I use an eclectic style that includes a psychodymamic approach, cognitive-behavioral therapy, self-empowerment techniques, meditation and mindfulness. My sense of humor and relaxed, informal manner can help you feel safe and comfortable. I like to incorporate meditation, mindfulness, and positive visualization. With young to middle adults, we may address personal and career goals, job stress, and relationships, with older adults, transitioning from the workforce to retirement and managing grief and loss. If you are in the Cincinnati area, we do have the option of in-person/office based sessions, which we can discuss at the first session.

Hello! I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Ohio. I received my Master's in Social Work from Ohio University and have been practicing for 6 years. I've helped individuals 5 to 65 years of age struggling with things such as various mood disorders, anxiety, and addiction become the best versions of themselves. Being trained as a Social Worker, I strongly believe that people should be treated with respect and care, regardless of their life circumstances. I am intentional when working with clients to partner with them in setting goals, changing behaviors, and addressing symptoms to help empower and encourage them to be the version of themselves they want to be.
Welcome - I'm glad you're here! I've been a clincial social worker licensed in the state of Ohio since 2007. I have a background in outpatient community mental health, crisis intervention and homeless outreach. Last year I made the transition to therapy and have never looked back! I have professional training in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR), and frequently use CBT skills to help build the thought-mood-behavior connection. I specilaize in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions such as breakups and divorce. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based techniques. I help clients understand how their relationships and past experiences shape their current emotional patterns, and I support them in building new skills to manage distress and improve their well-being.
I am a licensed Independent Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with adults who experience anxiety, depression, and Trauma.
My experience includes working with various populations, such as veterans, adults with disabilities, substance use and recovery, as well as women's issues. I also have a passion for working in the field of gerontology. I have a strong focus on holistic healing, nature, and how we can utilize various treatment modalities for a more balanced and healthier version of self. It can be overwhelming and scary navigating life at times; we can walk through that together.

Seeking help can be hard, but it is worth it! I will meet you with empathy, understanding, and support, in a judgement free safe space. Let's work together!
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. Maybe you're navigating a major life transition, grieving a loss, struggling with ADHD or neurodivergence, or questioning whether the life you're living actually feels like your own. You may be functioning well on the outside while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Perhaps you spend a lot of time thinking, analyzing, or trying to figure things out on your own, but still feel stuck. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, understand what's happening, and explore what you want to do differently.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, ADHD and neurodivergence, relationship concerns, and questions of identity, purpose, and direction. I especially enjoy working with thoughtful people who want to better understand themselves while also finding practical ways to navigate the demands of everyday life.

You may be someone who looks like you have it together from the outside, but inside you’re tired, overwhelmed, anxious, or wondering why the things that used to work for you just aren’t working anymore. Maybe you’re the person everyone else depends on, and you’re not quite sure where you get to put your own stuff.
I work especially well with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, major life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply trying to understand themselves better. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who have already done a lot of reflecting but want help turning that insight into something that actually changes how life feels.
I also work with a number of fellow therapists and helping professionals. At any given time, roughly 10% of my caseload is made up of clinicians who need a place where they do not have to be the therapist, supervisor, helper, or expert. They get to simply be the client.
Another area I care deeply about is supporting women navigating perimenopause and the changes that can come with it. When your mood, energy, sleep, concentration, or sense of self suddenly feels different, it can be hard to know what belongs in the therapy room and what needs medical attention. I can help you sort through what you are experiencing, prepare for conversations with healthcare providers, and feel more confident advocating for your own health.
You don’t need to come to therapy with the right words or a perfectly defined goal. We can start with what’s happening now and figure it out together.
Note: I provide all services in a virtual setting.

Do you feel un-help-able? Having spent ten years in community mental health, I have worked with people from all walks of life, with all different needs, and feel comfortable talking with most people about most things.
I hope to cultivate a safe, open space to examine whatever aspect(s) of your life you seek clarity and/or change. Talking about trauma, stress, relationships, or other unhappy circumstances is difficult, and I do my best to make it easy and comfortable. Please note: my professional calendars do not sync properly and if you schedule yourself, I may have to contact you to reschedule.
Also, please be aware that like most clinicians in private practice, I have late cancel/no-show fees. My fees are: $125 for missed appointments with no notification/contact, and $75 for late cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

When I’m not with loved ones, you can usually find me enjoying a good jigsaw puzzle, getting lost in a book, or indulging in a little retail therapy.
Every client is unique and is facing their own distinctive challenges. Therefore each treatment plan should be personalized and individualized. An ideal client is one who comes to counseling with an open mind and is ready to try new approaches and coping skills. Each person will benefit differently from a wide variety of approaches. Together we can and will find the right strategies that work best for you. There is not a "normal" or "standard" cookie-cutter path. It is a journey! I have experience working with issues as grief, anxiety, anger, mood, neurological, trauma, relationship issues, substance use disorders, and more.
I am dually independently licensed and passionate about providing the utmost quality of services to people struggling with mental health, substance use disorders and dual diagnoses. I have over 10 years of practice, including a wide array of experience, working with clients of all age groups individually, with couples and in groups.
The therapeutic environment is a safe place for clients and their families to experience their vulnerabilities while sharing their stories. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, existential, EMDR, and Person-Centered treatment interventions and I have found that when using these interventions, people begin to realize the strength to overcome challenges.

Hello. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Ohio. I received my Masters from the University of Toledo and have been practicing for 14 years. I find that having clarity is vital to making changes in our lives. Why we do the things we do, often not even being aware of why we do them. Gaining insight into how our thoughts are impacting our behaviors is crucial to change. Changing the way we interact with others can greatly impact our daily functioning, reduce our stress, and improve our relationships with the people in our lives. Making these changes increases the potential for a more joyful life.

I have 10 years of experience as an Ohio clinical counselor: working with all ages, diverse backgrounds, and various therapeutic settings. I work from a trauma informed, but laid back, and non-judgmental lense to meet you where you are and look at your symptoms as a holistic picture. I believe in a mind, body, spirit connection and empower clients to build a more balanced lifestyle.
My passion in the mental health field is to encourage children and teens to become life-long advocates for their emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It is my hope that together, we will find useful strategies that can be built upon and continue to grow during both the ups and downs of adolescence and beyond. My clients often present with moderate to severe worries and anxiety around “typical” angst related to school, activities, and relationships. Sometimes the stress is sneaky and camouflaged to look like fatigue, irritability, and apathy. I find that many young people use coping skills that may not be the healthiest; however making the initial decision to seek out better solutions through counseling provides countless options for therapeutic approaches.
In 2025, I proudly founded my own practice, Grand Wellness Group, in an effort to continue to provide the best support for clients, families, and supervision for clinical mental health providers.

I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, valued, and empowered. Life presents us with obstacles, but no one should have to navigate those storms alone.

I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with experience in working with adults and children from in-patient as well as out-patient settings. I have worked with teenagers and young children for over 12 years. I specialize in working with children with trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I have a heart for working with kids and teens with traumatic experiences. My passion began while I was still in high school and wanted to be a teacher. I worked in various daycare facilities as well as having my own in-home daycare and decided I wanted to help kids (and adults) in a more in-depth manner. That is when I began my journey into social work and found my true calling in life.
I have experience working with children and adolescents who have been through, or are currently in, the child welfare system as well as working with older teens with substance abuse/misuse issues.
Shawn is a Master's level Clinical Mental Health Therapist/Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a passion to help individuals live their best lives. You and I will work together to identify challenges, maladaptive thoughts & behaviors, and mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression. We will collaborate to develop a plan to improve symptoms and overcome the barriers that keep you from living life to the fullest!
Do you feel like you're running at full capacity with no room left to breathe? On the surface, you have it all together: the high-performing professional, the dependable parent, the supportive partner. Underneath, it's different. Anxiety that won't quiet. Depression creeping in. Burnout from roles that never let you clock out. Often it's all of them at once, tangled together until they blur.
I bring an engineer's mindset to therapy. My background in Mechanical Engineering shaped how I see problems, not as isolated issues but as complex systems needing recalibration. Most high-achievers I work with are tired of surface-level talk therapy; they want results. Together, we analyze what's actually breaking down, whether it's depression, anxiety, career burnout, or family dynamics. We build a concrete evidence-based plan using tools such as DBT and EMDR to process trauma and tackle performance issues. For over a decade, I've guided clients through major life transitions, for example career pivots, new parenthood, and loss, toward lives rooted in purpose and sustainable well-being.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, advocate, mother, runner, and yoga enthusiast. I believe that everyone would benefit from talk therapy because life is challenging, complicated, and busy. I fully understand that getting ourselves to therapy is, at times, not easy and sincerely appreciate every client that intentionally decides that they are ready to grow, heal, and evolve. I believe in the power of becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable so as to push ourselves to step outside of our comfort zones.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Youngstown State University and began my career working in foster care as a case manager, where I developed a strong foundation in advocacy, family systems, and trauma-informed care. I later expanded my clinical work as a mental health therapist in a school setting and within a collaborative program serving children involved in foster care, supporting clients through complex emotional and environmental challenges.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). My clinical experience includes counseling children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, low self-esteem, anger management concerns, and relationship challenges.
In my practice, I utilize trauma-informed CBT, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based approaches, and motivational interviewing to support meaningful and lasting change. I believe healing occurs in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment, where clients feel empowered, respected, and actively involved in their mental health journey.

I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor who started her degree at the University of South Florida. I’ve worked from treatment assistant to supervisor.
I have worked with those suffering with substance use disorders, trauma and panic disorders and even parents of children with special needs. My goal is to help people learn real time tools to help manage intense emotions and overcome pervasive patterns that prevent healthy relationships. Since I have worked in the social services for over 20 years, I have a wealth of knowledge.
Asking for help is a first step toward a better understanding and improved functioning.
The one question I get most often by clients and peers is: Why did you go into the counseling profession? My response is always the same. First, I have always had a desire to help people in a time of need or distress. I have felt this way as far back as high school. Secondly, I went through a debilitating anxiety disorder in my mid-twenties. I know first-hand the helplessness and desperation mental and emotional pain causes. I never condone a therapist sharing with a client, they know how the client feels unless they themselves have experienced a similar type of pain. Lastly, I believe in the power of counseling and the benefits it can offer. Counseling is very different from medicine. Counseling requires the client to be actively involved in the process of healing and growth rather than taking medication and waiting for it to work. Counseling empowers a client to by allowing them to see their progress towards the life they desire on a daily, weekly, and even monthly basis.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in North Carolina, Ohio, and Alabama. I earned my Master of Social Work degree through the Joint Program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University and have spent the past 15 years working in a variety of mental health settings.
As a biracial and bicultural woman of White and Native American heritage and an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, I understand the importance of culture, identity, belonging, and lived experience in the healing process.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, family conflict, grief, loss, and caregiver burnout. I also have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, including individuals recovering from unhealthy relationships, emotional abuse, religious trauma and domestic violence. While I enjoy working with adults from all backgrounds, I am especially passionate about supporting women as they build confidence, strengthen boundaries, heal from past experiences, and reconnect with their sense of self.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Many clients tell me they appreciate my conversational, down-to-earth style. While therapy can involve discussing difficult topics, I also believe healing can include moments of humor, self-discovery, and recognizing your strengths along the way. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, processing trauma, navigating a major life transition, or working to create healthier relationships, you do not have to face it alone.
I am committed to providing affirming care for individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, bicultural/biracial, neurodivergent, ability-diverse, and those from underrepresented communities.
