In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, you can expect a safe, judgment-free space where we take time to get to know each other. You’ll have the opportunity to share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with about yourself, what brings you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to work on. My goal in the first session is to build a sense of trust and ease—not to rush into anything. We’ll begin identifying your goals at a pace that feels manageable, while also helping you leave the session feeling supported, understood, and clearer about what therapy with me can look like moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to listen, learn, and work alongside you as we make sense of your experiences and move toward your mental health goals together. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, grounded in respect, curiosity, and trust. This allows our work to be shaped by your needs, your pace, and what feels most meaningful to you.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adults 18 and over, particularly individuals who are navigating the transition into adulthood and feeling the weight of increased responsibility, expectations, or life changes. I am especially well-suited to work with clients who are carrying a lot—whether that looks like leadership stress, family responsibilities, emotional overwhelm, or simply needing a place to pause and talk things through. Many of the clients I work with are not in crisis but are looking for support, clarity, and space to process life in a way that feels steady and grounding. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers a calm, judgment-free space to reflect, regroup, and move forward at your own pace, we may be a good fit. I also work with individuals who have leadership roles i.e. parents, career, business owners who feel like they are on an island by themselves and need an objective ear to talk through the stressors of constantly being the boss. The social worker/mental health therapist/first responders ensuring they are practicing their own self-care. The individual who has no longer wants to dump their issues and woes on family and friends but desires someone who is objective and has a skillset to be impactful. The individual who wishes to feel better about life, go back to school, start a new job, improve their lives but not sure where or how to begin. Aside from meeting new clients, I'm always excited to work with young adults and individuals to lack trusted support to talk through and work through life challenges.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have utilized DBT principles with individuals facing a range of emotional and behavioral difficulties, such as mood disorders, anxiety, and challenges with impulsivity. My experience includes individual sessions, where I guide clients through DBT skills and encourage the application of these strategies in real-life situations. I have witnessed significant improvements in clients' abilities to manage stress, navigate relationships, and maintain emotional balance. Overall, my experience with DBT has shown me the value of combining acceptance strategies with practical change-focused skills, enabling clients to build a life worth living.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational therapy is central to my work as a mental health practitioner. My approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and helping clients uncover their own motivations for change. By listening thoughtfully and guiding individuals to align their actions with personal values, I’ve witnessed meaningful progress, especially among clients who are uncertain or resistant to change. The process has taught me to be patient and trust each person’s expertise in their own life, leading to lasting, positive transformation.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Experience helping individuals work through unhelpful ways of thinking using CBT. This therapy helps people learn how to identify and change the destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behavior and emotions.

Amazing provider. If we both had the time, I would schedule a meeting daily. Thank you for being the highlight.
