(she/her)
Hi, I'm Morgan. I know how isolating and tough it can feel when life gets heavier than you can carry or when you're constantly second-guessing yourself. My clients are often people who appear to have it "together" on the outside but feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. I'm here to help untangle the tangled, and to help you find real relief from the pressures you're feeling. You don't have to do this alone.
Our first session is really about getting to know you. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, and what you're hoping to achieve. And if you don't know, we can figure that out together, too. We can go at your pace - and there's never any pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with.
My greatest strength is understanding. The problem you are facing is not "all in your head." You're not "exaggerating." You are a human being looking for help because you are feeling overwhelmed. I focus on truly listening, validating your experience, and even using humor when appropriate while still deeply valuing showing up as a professional. I want you to feel safe, understood, and supported. I believe that the relationship you have with your therapist as you work through your struggles is extremely important.
I work best with people who are ready to be real about how hard things feel right now - even if they're not sure where to start. My ideal clients are often juggling a lot, holding it together for others, and wondering why it feels so hard to care for themselves. When you're ready, click to schedule your session and start feeling better.
The relationship we have with ourselves is one of life's most important relationships. I use a compassion focused approach to help clients quiet their inner critic and develop more kindness toward themselves. I want you to feel supported from the inside out.
I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients in showing down, noticing their thoughts and feelings without judgement, and feeling more "here" in the present moment. If you've ever noticed that you have difficulty feeling truly "present," or maybe you feel like you have 100 tabs open in your mind, mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques might be helpful.
I use ACT to help others accept the thoughts and feelings they can't control while focusing on what truly matters. Together, we can work on building skills to stay present, move through challenges, and create a life that feels meaningful.
