I am a local counselor in Ohio with a history of helping others navigate emotional and behavioral challenges. I provide support while addressing concerns such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem difficulties, depressive mindset, school troubles, social relationship conflicts, and adjustment to life changes. Through a supportive, collaborative approach, I help young people build coping skills, strengthen their confidence, and develop healthier ways to manage their thoughts and emotions. Whether you are a child, teen, or adult, I try to be present and build rapport while making you feel seen and heard as I help manage active symptoms and life stressors.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I’d focus on getting to know you and helping you feel comfortable in the therapy space. We will talk about what brought you into therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have. I also answer questions and begin identifying ways we can work together to support their growth and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach focuses on creating a supportive and collaborative environment where you feel heard and respected. I integrate person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused strategies to help you understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping skills. I also emphasize each of your strengths and work to build confidence and resilience as you move toward your goals. I am willing to adapt and be present while validating thoughts and feelings, but I will also challenge you to grow into better versions of yourselves.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best suited to support those who are navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, or challenges with emotional regulation. I work well with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to manage their emotions, but are open to support and growth. Together, we focus on building practical skills, increasing self-awareness, and helping clients feel more confident in handling life’s challenges.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, respected, and validated. By building a strong therapeutic relationship, I can help you explore your thoughts and emotions while supporting your natural ability for growth and change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help you recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. Together we can identify unhelpful thinking patterns and practice practical skills to develop healthier coping strategies and problem-solving skills.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I work with you to set achievable goals and highlight the progress and resources that you already have to move forward.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical reactions. These strategies can help improve emotional regulation, reduce stress, and increase the ability to stay present during challenging moments.

Strength-Based

I focus on identifying and building upon each your strengths, abilities, and supports. By highlighting what you naturally are already doing well, I help you build confidence and practical strategies to manage challenges and reach your goals.
