My name is Jeffrey, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan, and a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I have also been an ordained Lutheran pastor since 1989. My professional career began as an Associate Pastor in a Lutheran church in northwest Ohio, where I focused on youth ministry, Christian Education, and pastoral counseling. I entered Social Work in 1995 when I began work as a Family Worker in a residential facility for hard to place juvenile offenders, and then worked in a few outpatient counseling agencies providing mental health and substance use disorder services. I have experience working with people of all ages on general mental health issues, such as managing depression and anxiety, and have specialized in the areas of PTSD recovery and domestic violence and sexual abuse victims and offenders. Throughout my counseling career, I have maintained activity in ministry. I was trained in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and also have had training as a Spiritual Director.
My counseling approach is generally non-directive, using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in a Solution Focused, Client Centered frame work. I can incorporate spirituality as much or as little as the client desires, from not referencing spirituality at all to fully engaging the spiritual dimension of life. As a caring, empathetic listener, people find it easy to talk with me and be open about what needs attention in their lives.
I look forward to working with you!
I'm glad that you're looking for help with whatever brought you here. I believe that therapy can be a supportive space for you and I to explore your journey. I facilitate this exploration through being attentive to you and your needs, noticing the effects of your experiences on your sense of self. We can also examine together how culture, society, and family influence our worlds, emotions, and identities.
I've been practicing in school and community based settings since 2018, and received my independent license in 2023. Through working with a wide range of ages and populations, I've came to appreciate how hurt and pain are hard to carry alone, and I'm honored to be present on that journey with you. I also offer services in both English and Mandarin/Chinese. Sliding fee appointments for those in need.
My name is Margaret Whitmore, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I began working in the mental health field in 2015 as a case manager. If I could sit beside my younger self and tell her one thing, I would say, “You are not broken. You are responding to what you’ve been through. Be gentle with yourself. One day, the healing you are fighting for will become someone else’s hope.”
Hi, I’m Cherita Griffin, MS-LPCC-S (Ohio), LPC (Georgia), NCC, CYT, SEL-F, C-DBT, CMIP, ADHD-CCSP. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement, and for more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult seasons.
My work is deeply personal to me because I understand that healing is more than a clinical process, it’s human. It’s learning to feel safe again. It’s finding your voice. It’s setting boundaries without guilt, giving yourself permission to rest, and learning that you don’t have to keep surviving when you are ready to begin living.
I specialize in supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying everything on their own.
Together, we gently uncover what hurts, make sense of what you’ve experienced, and begin rebuilding from a place of compassion rather than shame. I integrate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, social-emotional learning, and holistic, somatic-informed practices to support the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.
**Here, you don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
You can finally exhale.**
Healing isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about finding your way back to yourself—the parts of you that life may have taught you to silence, shrink, or leave behind.
You are worthy of healing.
You are worthy of peace.
And you don’t have to walk toward it alone.

Hello! I am Susan Andersen, MSW, LISW and welcome to my profile. I have been a social worker for 26+ years and enjoy working with people of all ages to help find techniques, interventions and solutions to grow emotionally and tackle barriers and navigate through the tough parts of life. I 100% believe that this is a team approach to treatment and the work done in the therapeutic environment is directed by the individual.
Hello! My name is Kaitlyn, and I’ve been working as a licensed mental health therapist for the past ten years in various different settings. I have experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, but I especially enjoy working with teens, young adults, and other Millenials like myself. I specialize in helping clients navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, and family-related stress.
I am passionate about creating an affirming, inclusive space for all clients, including those who identify as LGBTQ+ and individuals who are neurodiverse. My goal is to ensure each person feels seen, respected, and supported just as they are.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and play-based interventions, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and developmental level of the client.
I know that reaching out for help takes courage, and I feel honored to walk alongside my clients through difficult or uncertain times. Whether it’s learning to manage overwhelming emotions, strengthening relationships, or building self-understanding, I aim to help clients feel more confident, resilient, and empowered. I have been in the mental health field for over 8 years working as a caser manager for kids 6 to 17, working at a rehab facility, working as a substance abuse counselor in a prison and running my private practice. I offer EMDR, Trauma Informed CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness based approaches. Are you riding the hot mess express? When is the last time you had a good cry and not because you are angry? Do you feel like a robot and/or don't know what you want and need? Do you know exactly why you do what you do and still can't make any changes? Have you got in trouble because you used unhealthy coping skills and wants to learn how to do different? I have helped people from many different backgrounds and lived experiences get to a point where there they can live the life they want and not the one their past has created for them. I only have two rules for my clients: "you aren't allowed to say sorry because you didn't do anything wrong" and "you are allowed to tell me no". I use whatever method my client needs to help either process the past or learn new skills in the present. Not all therapy requires you to process the past.
Let's navigate life together. I have experience in helping clients with anger management, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, depression, & coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I use an eclectic approach with several research-based interventions including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. This is done to meet my clients where they are and to grow from there. I received my B.A. in Psychology and Pan-African Studies from Kent State University in 2003. I then went on to complete a Master of Education in Community Agency Counseling at Cleveland State University. I have been an active counseling therapist for 16 years and have worked in several settings, including Prevention Programs, School Based Therapy, and Outpatient therapy. I have even had the pleasure of being the Clinical Supervisor for a local mental health agency.
Hi there! I'm Ross (he/him), and I'm so happy you are making the steps to focus on your mental health. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a safe, affirming space where you can be your authentic self without judgement. Because of this I focus primarily on using affirmative therapy as my main modality.
I specialize in working with young adults and adults, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community, who may be navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, or life transitions. I also have experience with assisting those experiencing burnout whether from caregiving, work, or from other aspects of life!
My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, which means I'll meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and support you in building the confidence and tools you need to thrive. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, identity development, relationships, or navigating life in general I'd be happy to support you and walk with you through that journey.
I know it can be overwhelming to start therapy, but you don't have to go through this alone and I'd be honored to support you through those challenging times. Together, we'll focus on your strengths, explore what's meaningful to you, and help you move forward feeling more grounded, empowered, and understood.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience specializing in substance use disorder treatment, I provide a unique understanding to the disease of addiction, anxiety, depression and other underlying conditions. I use a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and faith based treatment. I am person of deep faith who loves his wife and 2 children. Family means a great deal to me and has been a wonderful support system to me along my life journey. I would love to help individuals find the support they need to assist them along their own personal journeys of life.
As a Licensed Mental Health Professional and Owner of a Telehealth-based Treatment and Training Center, I bring over 15 years of expertise in utilizing CBT and DBT therapeutic approaches to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Dual Diagnosis, Grief, Parenting, and Relationship issues. Specializing in individual counseling, I offer tailored support for those seeking a Christian or faith-based perspective. My commitment is to provide compassionate, client-centered care that fosters resilience and empowers individuals to achieve meaningful change.
My passion in the mental health field is to encourage children and teens to become life-long advocates for their emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It is my hope that together, we will find useful strategies that can be built upon and continue to grow during both the ups and downs of adolescence and beyond. My clients often present with moderate to severe worries and anxiety around “typical” angst related to school, activities, and relationships. Sometimes the stress is sneaky and camouflaged to look like fatigue, irritability, and apathy. I find that many young people use coping skills that may not be the healthiest; however making the initial decision to seek out better solutions through counseling provides countless options for therapeutic approaches.
In 2025, I proudly founded my own practice, Grand Wellness Group, in an effort to continue to provide the best support for clients, families, and supervision for clinical mental health providers.
Hello, my name is John Kelly, and I am a licensed professional counselor committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and create meaningful change. I provide a supportive, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves.
My practice focuses on helping clients work through anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal growth. I believe that our past experiences can have a powerful impact on how we think, feel, and relate to others, but they do not have to define our future. My goal is to work alongside each client to build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create a more fulfilling and balanced life.
I earned my doctorate and post-graduate master's degrees in psychology and my master's degree in counseling from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Professionally, I retired from the United States Air Force as a senior non-commissioned officer, and since retiring, have worked in several different behavioral health settings. In addition to my private practice, I am a graduate-level adjunct professor of counseling psychology.
My practice was born from the understanding that people who struggle often have filled their day to day lives with survival mechanisms: habits, actions, and thoughts that may have helped in the moment but become burdensome over time. The lasting effects of trauma can create an overwhelming sense of self-blame, leaving individuals questioning, "Am I the problem?" or "Did I do something wrong?"
My practice exists to help individuals build a healthier "life worth living". Where pain, fear, sadness, anger, and memories can be honored rather than suppressed. It is a place where healthier coping skills are developed, empowering clients to create lives filled with resilience and meaning.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has six years of experience and graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a dual degree in Social Work and Nonprofit Organizational Management. Outside of work I love to travel, cook, and craft.
I’m Jen, a compassionate Licensed Independent Social Worker dedicated to helping you find clarity and healing. With over 7 years of experience in counseling and 18 years of working in child welfare, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a heartfelt commitment to support your emotional well-being. I believe mental health care should be collaborative. Beyond work, I am a mother of two adult children, step-mother of 3 adult children, a sister, daughter and an Aunt. I believe everyone is capable of change or I would not be in this profession. I love the beach, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
I believe you are the expert of your own story, equipped with unique strengths to overcome life's challenges. Seeking a more fulfilling life takes courage, and I am here to support and empower you on that journey. I have worked since the late 70s with survivors of trauma: physical abuse, neglect, sexual assault, and combat trauma. It is a great honor to have received the trust of so many who have endured trauma, and to have been a part of their healing.
Hello! I’m Shaunté Rogers, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of counseling. Finding the right fit matters, and I understand how difficult it can be to open up when the connection does not feel safe, supportive, or genuine. My goal is to create a space that feels warm, receptive, and nonjudgmental—where you feel heard, accepted, and free to explore your own journey at your own pace.
As a therapist, I provide a compassionate and supportive space for women, college students, and healthcare professionals who are struggling with OCD, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, perfectionism, and stress-related concerns. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to manage intrusive thoughts, emotional exhaustion, and the pressure to constantly meet expectations while trying to care for yourself and others. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals.
I strive to help clients build confidence, develop healthier coping strategies, and feel more empowered in their daily lives. Through therapy, clients can learn to manage anxiety more effectively, strengthen their sense of self-worth, and create meaningful, lasting change that supports both emotional well-being and personal growth.

Hi, I’m Shannon, and I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the start.
I work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what’s next in their lives. Many individuals come to me for support with anxiety, depression, and life transitions, whether that’s navigating changes in relationships, career paths, identity, or overall direction. I also support children with challenges related to school, self-esteem, ADHD, and anxiety, helping them build confidence, coping skills, and emotional awareness in a supportive and age-appropriate way.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe therapy should not only help you feel better, but also give you skills that last beyond our sessions. I share valuable techniques on how to be present, see the important things in your world, and maximize your benefits from the resources available to you.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that taking care of your mental health is one of the most important investments you can make in yourself. Reaching out for help isn’t easy, so I want to start by acknowledging the strength it takes to take that first step. I’ve worked with clients from many walks of life, but my primary focus is helping adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges find clarity, peace, and balance again.
I graduated with my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016 and I have been practicing counseling in Ohio since October 2016. I have worked with a wide spectrum of clients ranging from teenagers up to retirees. I specialize in working with youth, teens, and adults, but I thrive working with clients across the lifespan. My hope is to help clients achieve their goals for therapy, no matter the age group or struggle.
Every client is unique and is facing their own distinctive challenges. Therefore each treatment plan should be personalized and individualized. An ideal client is one who comes to counseling with an open mind and is ready to try new approaches and coping skills. Each person will benefit differently from a wide variety of approaches. Together we can and will find the right strategies that work best for you. There is not a "normal" or "standard" cookie-cutter path. It is a journey! I have experience working with issues as grief, anxiety, anger, mood, neurological, trauma, relationship issues, substance use disorders, and more.
I am dually independently licensed and passionate about providing the utmost quality of services to people struggling with mental health, substance use disorders and dual diagnoses. I have over 10 years of practice, including a wide array of experience, working with clients of all age groups individually, with couples and in groups.
The therapeutic environment is a safe place for clients and their families to experience their vulnerabilities while sharing their stories. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, existential, EMDR, and Person-Centered treatment interventions and I have found that when using these interventions, people begin to realize the strength to overcome challenges.

Hi! I'm Tiara Neal, a diverse and dedicated psychotherapist! I pride myself on meeting clients exactly where they are and embarking on their transformative journeys alongside them. I like to think of and explain therapy as not me “fixing” anyone, but two people meeting and sharing ideas to analyze the puzzle pieces and empower clients to complete the puzzle on their own with the new found knowledge they gain in session.
I have been a therapist since 2000 and licensed since 2008. I work primarily with young to middle aged and older adults now. I also have worked extensively with children ages 7 and older. I will work with you to explore thoughts, feelings, and problems on a more internal and psychological level which I believe has a longer lasting impact while still clearing up the more overt behaviors. I use an eclectic style that includes a psychodymamic approach, cognitive-behavioral therapy, self-empowerment techniques, meditation and mindfulness. My sense of humor and relaxed, informal manner can help you feel safe and comfortable. I like to incorporate meditation, mindfulness, and positive visualization. With young to middle adults, we may address personal and career goals, job stress, and relationships, with older adults, transitioning from the workforce to retirement and managing grief and loss. If you are in the Cincinnati area, we do have the option of in-person/office based sessions, which we can discuss at the first session.

I've worked in community mental health and addiction services, but for the last 3 years, I've been doing telehealth therapy helping clients manage their mental health and addiction issues.
Enough about me. Let's take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, trauma, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.
I’m glad you reached out for support. Taking that step can require courage and strength. Many of the adults I work with are doing their best to hold everything together but feel overwhelmed on the inside. You may be dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, health concerns, difficult past experiences, or a major change in your life. You may also be facing grief, relationship challenges, questions about who you are, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.
I believe therapy should feel human, compassionate, and practical rather than clinical or cold. I offer a space where you can speak openly, feel heard, and explore what you are going through without judgment. Together, we can look at what is weighing on you, build on the strengths you already have, and develop practical tools that support you in daily life. If you are feeling stuck, tired, or ready for something to change, I’m here to help you take the next step.
Our first session is a chance for me to listen and learn more about you and what brought you to therapy. You will have space to talk openly about what has been difficult and what you would like to change. We can begin identifying what is weighing on you, the strengths you already have, and practical ways therapy can support you. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at a pace that works for you.
I work with adults in Ohio, Arizona, and Nevada who may look like they are managing well on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, health concerns, life changes, relationship challenges, grief, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Ohio. I received my Master's in Social Work from Ohio University and have been practicing for 6 years. I've helped individuals 5 to 65 years of age struggling with things such as various mood disorders, anxiety, and addiction become the best versions of themselves. Being trained as a Social Worker, I strongly believe that people should be treated with respect and care, regardless of their life circumstances. I am intentional when working with clients to partner with them in setting goals, changing behaviors, and addressing symptoms to help empower and encourage them to be the version of themselves they want to be.
