New to Grow
My approach to therapy integrates evidence-based practices, including EMDR, CBT, and DBT, to support meaningful and lasting change. I approach therapy with a clear understanding of how past experiences can shape current patterns, while helping clients build insight, develop practical skills, and create meaningful change. I provide a supportive, collaborative space that balances compassion with gentle challenge, empowering clients to improve functioning, strengthen relationships, and move forward with intention.
Clients can expect the first session to focus on getting to know their concerns, history, and goals in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand patterns, current stressors, and what they hope to gain from therapy, while also providing space for them to share at their own pace. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying initial goals and next steps, creating a clear and collaborative direction for treatment.
My strengths as a therapist include the ability to balance empathy with clinical precision, creating a space where clients feel both supported and meaningfully challenged. I bring a steady, grounded presence informed by experience in crisis settings and work with chronic suicidal ideation, allowing me to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations. I am skilled at identifying patterns, translating insight into practical strategies, and tailoring evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and DBT to each client’s needs. I value collaboration and transparency, helping clients feel actively engaged in their growth. Above all, I am committed to fostering resilience, self-awareness, and lasting, sustainable change
I see many individuals who are older adolescent and young adult. I enjoy helping young people find who they are, identify values, and set goals. Also helping them with those with self harm and suicidal ideation. Those with complex trauma and helping those find themselves again after life changes during transitional times. Helping to keep clients focused on the future and solution focused.
