I specialize in working with women and LGBTQ+ adults who are ready to stop repeating the same relationship patterns and start building a healthier relationship with themselves. You may find yourself questioning your worth, losing yourself in relationships or friendships, struggling to trust your own decisions, or feeling stuck in patterns you know no longer serve you. Together, we'll explore where those patterns began, strengthen your self-trust, and create lasting change rooted in emotional safety and self-respect. My approach integrates attachment-informed, trauma-focused, and evidence-based therapy with practical tools that support meaningful change beyond our sessions. I believe healing involves the whole person, recognizing the impact of relationships, trauma, nervous system regulation, physical health, and life transitions on emotional wellbeing. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Therapist, I also support clients navigating intimacy, sexuality, sexual trauma, religious shame, relationship transitions, and recovery from intimate partner violence.

I know how easy it is to become the person everyone depends on while quietly carrying stress, pressure, anxiety, or emotional pain underneath the surface. Many of the clients I work with are high functioning professionals, caregivers, parents, and leaders who are used to pushing through life while putting their own emotional needs on the back burner. Over time, that emotional weight can start showing up in relationships, work, sleep, mood, self esteem, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone. I specialize in EMDR therapy and work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is warm, grounded, and direct. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation with someone who is present, engaged, and genuinely invested in helping you heal and grow. Together, we will explore not only what is happening in the present, but also how past experiences may still be shaping the way you think, feel, react, and connect with others today. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to painful experiences so you can move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and peace. With over 16 years of experience in mental health and substance use recovery, I am passionate about helping people move out of survival mode and feel more emotionally connected, balanced, and like themselves again. I provide virtual therapy to clients in Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.

Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next, and you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. My work with adults focuses on helping clients navigate life transitions, relationships, women’s issues, domestic violence, substance use and recovery, chronic health challenges, stress, and the many changes that can come with different seasons of life. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents and helping young people develop the skills and confidence they need to manage their emotions and navigate challenges. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. You know your life better than anyone, and my role is to listen, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and provide practical tools and strategies that can help you move forward.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) providing individual therapy to adults (18+) across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This passion led me to pursue a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, giving me insight into both human behavior and the systems that shape our experiences. From there, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, building a strong foundation to guide, support, and empower those I work with. My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. I draw from approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet your needs and support meaningful progress.

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Georgia. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Georgia from Athens to Savannah! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Georgia.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Domestic Violence, is filtering therapists in Georgia that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
