New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. I provide a compassionate, collaborative space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to build practical tools for emotional balance and lasting growth. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive, helping individuals move from simply surviving to thriving.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we focus on understanding your concerns, goals, and what brings you to therapy at this time. I will ask questions about your history, current stressors, and strengths to gain a clear picture of how best to support you. Together, we will begin identifying priorities for treatment and discuss practical next steps, ensuring the process feels collaborative, comfortable, and aligned with your needs.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I combine evidence-based approaches such as CBT and solution-focused techniques with a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens to help clients gain clarity, regulate emotions, and take practical steps toward meaningful change. Clients often share that they appreciate my balance of empathy and directness, as well as my ability to translate insight into actionable tools that support real-life progress.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve adults who appear high-functioning on the outside but feel emotionally overwhelmed on the inside. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, trauma, or major life transitions while feeling unheard or carrying the pressure to always “be strong.” I work well with individuals who are ready to gain insight, build healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and stress-related disorders. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build practical skills for emotional regulation and lasting change.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Here’s a strong 2-sentence response for Solution-Focused Brief Treatment (SFBT): I have utilized Solution-Focused Brief Treatment (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build practical solutions within a short-term framework. In my practice, I focus on highlighting what is already working, fostering client autonomy, and creating actionable steps that promote measurable progress and resilience.
Strength-Based
I utilize a strengths-based approach to help clients identify their existing abilities, resources, and resilience as foundations for growth. In my practice, I focus on empowering clients to build on what is already working, fostering confidence, autonomy, and sustainable change.
Grief Therapy
I provide grief therapy to support clients as they process loss, adjust to life changes, and navigate the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral impacts of bereavement. In my practice, I offer a compassionate, client-centered space to explore feelings, honor the meaning of the loss, and develop healthy coping strategies that promote healing and adaptation.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice trauma-informed care by recognizing the impact of past and ongoing trauma on a client’s emotional, behavioral, and relational functioning. In my work, I prioritize safety, empowerment, and collaboration while integrating evidence-based interventions that support stabilization, resilience, and long-term healing.
