Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, psychotherapist and a Co-Occurring Disorder Professional Diplomate. I enjoy working with people with diverse issues. I am licensed in both Pennsylvania and Florida, but based primarily in Northeastern PA. As a Marywood University graduate, I have experience in addiction, crisis work, as well as working with folks suffering from anxiety, depression, and grief. I have also worked with domestic violence victims and also offer anger management.
Sometimes people experience emotional problems (e.g., anxiety, depression), behavioral problems (e.g., overeating, smoking), or relationship problems (e.g., excessive arguing, poor communication) that interfere with their daily functioning. These difficulties result from the interaction of biological, learning, behavioral, and environmental factors, which influence patterns of thinking and behaving. Negative life events can contribute to the development of self-defeating patterns of thinking and behaving, which some people can have difficulty changing. In my work, which I have been practicing for 42 years, I help people identify these self-defeating patterns and develop strategies for dealing with them. I emphasize the importance of practicing these strategies consistently, with the goal of handling emotions more effectively and behaving in more responsible and healthy ways. I focus on life pattern changes with respect to relationships, depression, anxiety, anger control, impulse control, and stress management.
I’m a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience helping adults navigate recovery, anxiety, and life transitions. I specialize in working with people who’ve reached a crossroads and are ready to move beyond just getting by into building a life that feels purposeful and aligned. My approach is direct, supportive, and focused on real, lasting change—combining practical tools with honest conversation to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity. I enjoy seeing people make positive changes in their lives. I have worked with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens, from various cultures and backgrounds. Each case and each client is unique in their way and each client is important.
My particular areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling. I refer to myself as a "simple-minded therapist" which means we will explore simple ways to address the presenting concerns because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked. I am a firm believer that holding a conversation is more productive than expounding on theoretical approaches.
Thank you for taking time to learn a little about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with over 28 years of counseling experience in clinical, private and educational settings. I practice Client-centered therapy. For those who are unfamiliar with Client-centered therapy it is based on the practice that the CLIENT is best able to decide what to explore and mark as a goal of treatment. I empower all my clients without compromising empathy. Whatever the reason any individual, couple, or family comes to me, I challenge their skillset to solve problems and restore resolve; not simply provide short-term solutions. The first step to achieve this is to build a rapport with essential empathy and unconditional positive regard.
I believe in relationships. Seems a little elementary but one's physical, mental, and overall wellness is dependent on relations that we have with each other. No matter how large or small one's family is, and/or social circle we were all meant to establish and grow relationships. No level of true self-reflection would escape this fact. I witnessed this to be true in all of my clients as with myself.
I currently reside Central Florida with my wife, son, and three daughters. As a family we enjoy an active lifestyle supportive of one another and the family dynamic.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Life has its ups and downs and struggles, but you don’t have to get stuck there or suffer.
If you’re struggling right now, we can work together to make your life better. Therapy doesn’t have to be hard or scary. It can be a safe haven to explore what is getting in the way of having the life that you want. I’m a licensed clinical social worker, specializing in mental health and chemical dependency. I have a laid-back style and often use humor and metaphors to make ideas easy to grasp. I’ll help you learn new skills and make small changes that have big results.
Struggling with addiction can feel isolating—but you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you are dealing with substance use, alcohol dependence, or trying to make sense of repeated relapses, I offer a space where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment.
With over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) in Florida, I’ve worked alongside individuals at every stage of recovery. I understand how complex addiction is—and how much strength it takes to ask for help.
I specialize in working with people navigating addiction, trauma, mental health challenges, and major life transitions. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care to support meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy works best when it’s a collaborative process—where your voice is valued and your goals guide the work we do together.
I also bring a personal understanding of the recovery process, which allows me to meet clients with both clinical expertise and authentic empathy. Whether you’re newly sober, returning to recovery, or just starting to question your relationship with substances, you’ll be met with compassion, honesty, and real support every step of the way.
I welcome working with people who realize they are having certain difficulties navigating life because of a struggle with feelings, behaviors and thoughts. The awareness of the struggle is the most important first step that we revisit throughout therapy until you can make peace within. You can become skilled at releasing attachments to the patterns that plague you. My specialty is helping those having difficulties with their own feelings, thoughts and behaviors, relationships as a result of trauma, being newly clean & sober, or because of a chronic physical or mental illness such as OCD or ADHD. I welcome you to not hesitate to reach out.

My name is John A. Llauget. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University and an Educational Specialist Degree in Counseling from University of South Florida. My career in mental health in 1977 working in a psychiatric hospital; and later as a outpatient therapist in a community mental health center working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I was licensed in Florida in 1986 as a Mental Health Counselor and have maintained my license since that date. Also I have worked as an employee assistance counselor, school counselor, associate professor at an international university, and court evaluator for guardianship cases. For 20 years I worked as a cancer counselor with oncology clients helping them cope with illness, stress, and emotional distress.
Additionally I have maintained a practice and interest in Traditional Okinawan Uechi-Ryu, earning a Masters rank in that system of training. I have used martial training with children & adolescents to develop self-control and self esteem. Later when I began working with an elderly population and clients dealing with physical limitations, I taught Qigong and Mindfulness Meditation as a way to improve their health, well-being, and cope with stress. My therapeutic style centers around getting to know a client, develop trust, and talking more explicitly about issues before making any recommendations. I am a strong advocate of evidence-based treatments and teaching ‘tools’ to cope with stress and emotional difficulties. I have gained training in trauma treatment because we now know that it is prevalent in our life experiences. I value compassion, persistence, and patience in working towards change. I look forward to working with you. I also value your time and want to use it productively in assisting you to reach your therapeutic goals.
I come from a multidisciplinary approach from PhD in Human Services with a specialization is social and community services to my LMHC in Florida and Utah. My vision is to show the unique light that is the purpose and medicine for this world. We all hold a light that is only within us where we are living a life where we are the authentic artist of our own experience, making tangible progress in all areas, and radiating your unique, spirit-infused purpose to the world. My mission is to be a guide-a steward until each person connects to their unique light and purpose and bring their medicine (gift) to help heal this world. I do this by providing integrative services that include yoga, dance, martial arts, rhythm and intuitive arts into my counseling and coaching sessions.
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels both supportive and collaborative. My goal is to provide a safe space where clients can process trauma, explore challenges, and build the skills they need to live more fully. I offer psychotherapy, therapeutic assessments, and specialized interventions designed to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether you are navigating life transitions, managing mental health concerns, or seeking greater clarity in your relationships, I aim to help you feel understood and empowered. As I often remind clients, our connection to the world is shaped by the people we engage with. Together, we can build on your existing strengths and experiences to create meaningful change and improve your quality
of life.
As an athlete, a family man, and a man of faith, I understand the challenges with adjusting to change associated with leaving a sport or career, you love, before you believe your time is up. I understand what it feels like to develop a bond and the challenges with sustaining such bonds. I also understand seeking growth spiritually when there’s so much temptation and triggers that seem to pull me away for my goals. With that, these experiences are what hopefully keep me humble, motivated, and grateful.
If you are ready to set some personal goals and engage in growth, I would love to work with you. I work to meet you where you are, identifying goals in our intake session so that we can choose an evidence based curriculum that best fits your needs. I have experience with and utilize substance curriculums, anger management, trauma focused, grief focused, mindfulness based as well as a curriculum focused on becoming more open.
Since 2012, I have worked with a variety of clients dealing with circumstances that are unique to their lives. Life can be complicated and having someone in your corner can ease fears and worries while allowing for growth and healing. My passion as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is working with individuals and couples who have experienced trauma and difficult times. As a wife, mom, grandmother, and dog mom, I also enjoy assisting family and friends in reaching their goals. I will be here to encourage you, support you and validate you.
I know making the decision to come to therapy can be difficult, scary and leave you feeling vulnerable but taking that first step is the key to unlocking the door towards becoming your best self. You are the true expert of yourself and often just need additional encouragement to identify and explore areas that are no longer working.
Vulnerability, shame, and guilt can prevent you from seeking the help and support you need to find solace in your head, heart and life. I am a daughter of Veteran and wife of a fire fighter. I know personally the stigmas and stressors that come along with seeking treatment. I have a deep understanding and love of the firefighting, EMT, and paramedic communities. Break those chains that keep you from seeking, happiness, forgiveness, healing, and serenity. One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Having a good grasp of the very real issues with which first responders must face and handle on a daily basis I will help you navigate the issues and memories that haunt you and find real, lasting solutions for long term healing.
I promise I won't bite, but I am a loud Bostonian haha! Allow me to walk and guide you on your path to uncovering and rediscovering who you are and what you already know but struggling to see.
Hi, I’m someone who genuinely loves helping people bring their ideas to life. I’m here to make the process feel easy, collaborative, and maybe even a little fun, while delivering results you can feel proud of.

While I have been trained in many different styles and “theories,” my helping approach is fairly straight forward and draws on many different traditions: In my view, there is no doubt that what we have experienced in the past shapes who we are and how we see ourselves, others and the world. Therapy is a process of connecting the dots between where we have been and how those experiences influence our thinking and behavior today. Often, our past experiences have us thinking and acting in ways that are irrational and self-defeating, causing problems in all areas of our lives. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and unconditionally supportive space for folks to share who they are and what they have been through. I partner with them in taking what we might call a “therapeutic microscope” to the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that accompany the circumstances of their lives, supporting them in reinforcing what works and finding alternatives to what does not.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband doing outdoor activities - especially riding the Harley and going out on the water. I love to walk daily and enjoy knitting in my spare time.
Everyone in life ( including therapists at times) need someone to talk to in order to help resolve problems, manage stress, process trauma or enhance coping skills. I believe in looking at what you want to accomplish as the goal of therapy and then working on skills to achieve that goal. I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques as well as person-centered techniques and when needed will involve the family if the client is willing and if it will enhance our work together. I believe everyone has the tools inside them to achieve their goals; it is just about unlocking them and utilizing them. I have worked extensively with trauma survivors and have utilized mindfulness exercises. I also have worked extensively with clients who have co-occurring disorders including depression/anxiety along with substance use disorder. I also have work extensively with teenagers and LGTBQ+ community.

Hi, I’m Glen Cognac, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. For years I’ve worked across different levels of care, from PHP and IOP to outpatient treatment, which has given me a unique perspective on what clients truly need at different stages of recovery and healing.
My approach is neuroscience-informed and evidence-based. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients not only understand what is happening in their lives, but also why. By looking at how the brain and body respond to stress, trauma, and cravings, I help people build practical tools that make lasting change possible.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe, nonjudgmental space where you don’t just talk about your struggles, but also discover strengths you may not have realized you had. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, ashamed, or afraid of repeating old patterns; and together we create a new way forward.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen with compassion, offer clarity, and give you tools that actually work in daily life, I’d be honored to support you.
I'm Eduardo Florez, Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing telehealth therapy throughout Florida—Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and surrounding areas. I also work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship problems, stress, and life transitions—including treatment-resistant cases where previous therapy hasn't worked. I provide specialized support for veterans, first responders, and high-functioning professionals dealing with burnout and perfectionism, plus forensic evaluations. My approach is direct, strategic, and pattern-focused: CBT, DBT, and Gottman Method with practical tools you can use immediately. I challenge what keeps you stuck rather than just processing feelings. Bilingual (English/Spanish), LGBTQ+ affirming, evening and weekend appointments available, most insurance accepted.
After graduating from Troy University with my Master's in Counseling and Psychology, I have worked in several different capacities. I have experience with inpatient group settings, outpatient counseling settings to include working with those suffering from addiction and working towards recovery, depression and anxiety among other mental health concerns. One of my most rewarding experiences was working with PTSD survivors. I recently have received my doctorate in Psychology with a concentration in grief counseling. I most enjoy being a part of my client's journey to mental health recovery.
Also, I have been an Adjunct Psychology Professor for over the past 6 years and have been immersed in the academic arena which has allowed me to assist undergraduate psychology majors who wish to go into higher levels of education.
I specialize in working with adolescence and their families and adults. Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, emotional dysregulation, addictions, behavioral issues, communication style improvement, self-confidence building, and relationship improvements are some of the issues that I treat in my practice.
As the wife of a physician and someone who has worked closely with RNs, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, I understand firsthand how emotional exhaustion and constant pressure can take a toll. I’m especially passionate about helping healthcare providers heal from compassion fatigue. I am a laid-back therapist, so it’s not unusual for me to wear jeans or sandals at the office. I have lived experience with mental health personally.
Hi, I’m Kat, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I provide therapy for adults and teens struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and overwhelm. I believe therapy can be a space to slow down, better understand what’s contributing to these struggles, and build healthier ways of coping and relating.
My style is gentle, warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being fully yourself — even when talking about difficult emotions or experiences.
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!!
Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations.
Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment.
While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.
