Hello! My name is Maria Chiodo, and I have been a licensed therapist for 31 years! I am here to guide you in moving past whatever issues you are working with. I believe you are the expert on you, but I have skills and techniques that I can share with you to help you reach your goals -- better relationships, better moods, better understanding of yourself, or help reducing unwanted habits. During your first session, we will take the time to get to know each other and find out what is bringing you in to therapy. I will ask certain questions that I need to know, but will also hope to here more about you from your own personal conversation with me.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

My treatment methods are client centered, solution focused, but also focus on defining what unhelpful beliefs we have about ourselves, and work to shift them to a more positive self awareness.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are working with clients that have self esteem issues, relationship issues, and have experienced current or past trauma.
