Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida . I received my Masters from Walden University and have been practicing for 6 years. I help clients struggling with life stressors, past traumas and burnout become the best versions of themselves. I take on a collaborative approach so you, the client can get the most out of your counseling experience.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

I’m best positioned to support teens, adults, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD-related challenges, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. I work especially well with clients who may feel misunderstood, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in unhealthy patterns and are looking for a supportive, collaborative space to heal and grow. As a Black therapist, I understand the importance of representation and creating a culturally aware environment where clients, including Black teens and young adults, can feel seen, safe, and understood. My approach is compassionate, goal-oriented, and focused on helping clients build healthier coping skills, improve communication, strengthen emotional insight, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Kysa is exceptional. Lots of time therapists feel like they are detached and it feels like being in a sterile room when in therapy. Kysa feels like a real person and is able to relate on every level. She is behavior change/solution focused
