Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing in Northern California for 20+ years. I believe everyone has inner wisdom that is often difficult to access when we have dealt with trauma, fear, shaming and abuse. My goal is to help clients access the parts of themselves that they feel disconnected from or would like to develop further. I believe very strongly that healing and change are possible at any age! I like to teach skills that help with finding the strong parts of each person, that may have been suppressed or cut off, due to life circumstances.

I always felt that I was called to help others. Growing up in South Los Angeles, I developed a sense of culture and community amongst Black and Brown people as well as a respect for the struggles of BIPOC. I grew up around artists, musicians, poets, leaders, givers, and eccentrics from all walks of life. During this time, I discovered how much I enjoyed listening to people, problem-solving, and motivating others to succeed and explore their authentic selves. I started off as a mentor in undergrad, inspiring other young people of color to attend college and think outside of the box in regards to their futures. I continued working with children, teens, and adults with special needs until I landed a position as an intern at a non-profit mental health agency in South Los Angeles. After I obtained my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I continued to grow as a clinician, supervisor, and manager at the nonprofit while also taking on teen and adult clients in the private practice setting. I am now pursuing my dream to work Full Time as a Private Practice Therapist.

I’m Dr. Claudia Nuñez a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I believe therapy is not about reliving pain for its own sake. It is about understanding what your suffering has been signaling and bringing that understanding into the present so you can live with more clarity, self-compassion, and choice. Many of the people I work with feel caught in anxiety and overthinking, people pleasing, guilt, burnout, or a deep sense that something needs to change but they cannot quite name what. Others are moving through grief or life transitions that have shaken their identity, relationships, or sense of direction. Some are navigating a spiritual calling or values shift, and feeling both pulled toward meaning and exhausted by the weight of it all. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in Internal Family Systems and liberation psychology. Rather than viewing symptoms or recurring patterns as personal flaws, we explore them with curiosity and consider how they may have been shaped by your history, relationships, culture, environment, and ways of adapting. Together, we identify what is no longer serving you, clarify what you need now, and develop responses that feel more intentional, sustainable, and aligned with your values. Alongside talk therapy, I may incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, narrative exploration, and evidence-informed cognitive and behavioral strategies. Grounding and breath practices are offered collaboratively and adapted to your comfort—not to bypass pain or minimize the realities around you, but to help you remain present and build greater capacity for choice. My style is warm, honest, and collaborative. We move at a pace that respects your boundaries while supporting meaningful reflection and change.

Hi I am Kao, I firmly believe that as humans we have an innate desire for growth and balance. Unfortunately, often we physically respond to ingrained negative cues and messages that get stuck in our body. Many times these old cues manifest themselves in our body as anxiety, depression, and other trauma responses. It can feel like we are living life just trying to cope with the loudness of these negative messages. What if instead of just gaining tools to “cope” with these trauma responses, we could eliminate them all together? How might your life look? My hope is that in our work together we will be able to address wounds and move towards healing so that you don’t have to “cope” anymore. Instead you can thrive and have a sense of self-awareness that brings constant peace and clarity.

Hi there, I'm Dr. Evelyn Vasquez, and I currently ONLY work with people who operate under extraordinary occupational pressure, including first responders, veterans, medical providers, elite athletes, and other high-performing professionals who are under extreme pressure to help others. If you've been carrying the weight of your work, struggling with trauma, navigating performance anxiety, or feeling the strain in your relationships, I'm here to help. I also work with family members of the individuals mentioned above. I meet you where you are. I understand that therapy might feel uncomfortable or even risky in your world. My approach is about helping explore who you are, changing what you don't like, and giving you tools that actually work within the realities of your life. Whether you're working rotating shifts, managing a packed competition schedule, juggling court dates, or dealing with the unpredictability of emergency services, we will together to build your capacity to perform at your highest level. I bring some relevant background to our work together. As a former collegiate athlete, I've experienced performance pressure myself. My Master's in Homeland Security and experience in security and emergency management have given me insight into organizational cultures and operational realities. While I don't claim to know exactly what you've been through, I've worked extensively with people in your field, and I will learn about your specific experience from you. I specialize in evidence-based trauma treatments (Prolonged Exposure, CPT, and EMDR) that have strong track records for resolving PTSD, and I integrate performance psychology and resilience skills so you can move forward stronger. I also work with couples and families, because the demands of your career affect the people you care about most. If you're ready to address what's been weighing on you or even if you're just exploring whether therapy might help.

I provide a warm and genuine atmosphere and understand that “one size does not fit all." I'll do my best to meet you where you are and really get to know you and your specific concerns. I treat the whole person to maximize growth. Do you feel like your 'fight-or-flight' response is stuck on high? I specialize in helping clients understand the unique wiring of ADHD, depressed, and anxious brains. By exploring the science of why you feel so restless, unmotivated, or overwhelmed, we can separate your worth from your symptoms. My goal is to help you stop fighting your brain and start working with it, using evidence-based techniques that actually click for your unique mind. Therapy shouldn't be another place where you have to perform. In our sessions, fidgeting is encouraged, eye contact is optional, and your unique way of processing the world is celebrated, not 'fixed.' I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for adults with ADHD and anxiety to unmask and find balance. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths to help you navigate a world that wasn't exactly built for minds like yours. If you're tired of feeling like your brain is a browser with 50 tabs open, you’re in the right place. I help individuals with ADHD, PTSD, depression and anxiety and more move from 'overwhelmed' to 'organized' by building practical toolkits for time management and focus. We won't just talk about your challenges, we'll actively troubleshoot the obstacles keeping you stuck so you can feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

I’m Juliana Mott Fabio, LCSW, and I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating grief, life transitions, anxiety, and the quiet emotional weight that can build when life feels overwhelming. Many of my clients come to therapy during seasons when they feel unsteady—after a loss, during a major shift in identity or relationships, or when old patterns of coping no longer feel sustainable. My role is to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and understand what you’re carrying with gentleness rather than judgment. With a background in hospice, bereavement counseling, crisis work, and somatic practices, I bring both clinical experience and a deep respect for the human experience. I blend talk therapy with somatic and mindfulness-based tools to help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and feel more present and supported in daily life. Together, we explore what is no longer serving you, strengthen your resilience, and identify new ways of relating to yourself and others. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel seen, understood, and empowered—where you can process your emotions, rebuild your sense of self, and move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t have to navigate these transitions alone.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. As your therapist I will support you in building the skills you need to navigate everyday life stressors. I have years of experience working in the areas of anxiety, trauma, suicidality, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorder, and relationship issues. I also have had the opportunity to work in diverse settings both inpatient and outpatient programs, long and short term, and with various populations of different cultural, ethnic, sexual orientations, gender identities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am a strong believer in providing a safe space for everyone. It can be difficult at times to find openness and support and I am happy to help with those challenges. It is important to develop a safe non-judgmental space to help build a better trusting relationship to help guide you and learn ways to live with more joy and fulfillment in your life. It is not easy to reach out and ask for help. It is incredibly difficult for so many people to seek the care they need. You are already taking one of the most important steps and allowing yourself to make your self-care a priority. This process can be both confusing and overwhelming, but I am looking forward to working collaboratively with you on this journey.

Hello, I'm Dr. Scheherazade Pheng, a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience helping adults across California. My work has been at the intersection of mental health, the criminal justice system, and the families whose lives are deeply affected by it. One of the things that matters most to me is making quality mental health care accessible. I welcome clients with a variety of insurance plans because I believe the support you receive should never depend on the insurance card you carry. Throughout my career, I have learned two important truths. When one person enters the criminal justice system, an entire family is impacted. Parents, spouses, grandparents, and children often carry overwhelming stress, grief, fear, and uncertainty while trying to keep moving forward. I have also seen that many communities near California's prisons and detention facilities have limited access to mental health care, despite having a tremendous need for support. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, shame, or the emotional challenges of loving someone who is incarcerated, you will find a compassionate and judgment-free space in my practice. Together, we'll work toward healing, greater clarity, and renewed hope. You deserve support just as much as the people you care about, and I'm here to help when you're ready. Dr. Pheng is also the author of The Other Side of the Wall: A Healing Guide for Families of Incarcerated Loved Ones, available at thriveinstitutefbh.com.

I decided to become a therapist because I love being able to help others. One of my favorite things is getting to know others and helping them to discover (or re-discover) who they are. Welcome—I'm glad you're here. I'm a licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience helping adults build stronger, more compassionate relationships—with themselves and with others. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-critical thoughts, and the feeling of being stuck or disconnected from what matters most. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work. These approaches help clients not only manage emotional challenges, but also clarify their values and move toward a more meaningful, fulfilling life. At the heart of our work is the belief that healing comes through greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and self-compassion. Whether you're struggling with a harsh inner critic, navigating a transition, or simply feeling out of alignment, therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths and make choices that reflect who you truly are. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed—but leave with greater clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. If you're ready to move forward with more self-kindness, intention, and meaning, I’d be honored to support your journey.

Hello! I'm Kelsey, and I'm so glad you're here. Taking the first step toward therapy isn't always easy. Often, the very challenges that bring us to therapy—stress, burnout, overwhelm, anxiety, or feeling like you've lost your "spark"—can also make it difficult to reach out for support. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe therapy is most effective when it's collaborative, individualized, and grounded in genuine connection. Using a compassionate, person-centered approach, I'll help you deepen your understanding of yourself while building on your existing strengths.

Hi, I'm Sara! I believe everyone has the capacity to heal, even when life feels overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and comfortable being your authentic self. You don't have to have the right words or all the answers—we'll figure things out together. I enjoy helping people understand themselves on a deeper level, recognize patterns that no longer serve them, and build practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in the belief that therapy should meet you where you are. I know that healing isn't always linear, and I believe growth can happen through both the difficult moments and the lighter ones. While we may explore deep emotions, I also welcome laughter, curiosity, and celebrating the small wins along the way. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and a little more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
