Providing online therapy throughout California, I work with adults of all ages who find themselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, hopeless, defeated, or frustrated in their experience of daily life and relationships. Having a safe and confidential space to talk about how you're really doing, where all your thoughts, feelings, and experiences can be shared and accepted without judgement is an important step in healing past hurts and growing into the person you'd like to become.
In our first session together I will listen to your story, your "why now?" that has brought you to therapy. I will ask some questions about you to begin getting to know you and what our work together will be.
I value the relationship between client and therapist as the foundation of any transformation or healing that may take place. Building trust through compassionate, and non-judgmental acceptance will be at the core of our work together.
Knowing that you are ready for a change, whether it is in your outer life (such as a new job, the ending or beginning of significant relationships), or your inner life (how you feel about yourself, your behaviors, habits, and mood) is a great place to start the therapy process.
