Hello, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I earned my Master’s degree at Mount Saint Mary’s University. I have worked with women for the past 6 years during pregnancy and postpartum time periods of life, as well as during other transitions in life. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals, particularly women, as they navigate the unique challenges of life’s transitions.
Hi, I’m Brittany, a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I help adults and adolescents who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, life transitions, or relationship challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning but stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-criticism, or burnout. I take a collaborative, practical approach using evidence-based tools to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and better able to manage daily stress and life changes over time.
I am a psychotherapist who values not only the creative attributes of the mind but also the wisdom of the body and soul. My presence-oriented, client-centered approach, helps me connect in a way that empowers the change and growth you desire. I offer practical tools and guidance that support you to achieve wellness and balance. My areas of specialty include trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, relationships-couples, polyamory, family, social, LGBTQ-, cross-cultural, and creativity. I am well-versed in teaching coping skills, self-regulation, and mindfulness practices. Somatic, psychodynamic, Transpersonal, depth, art, energy psychology, guided imagery, and CBT are some of the therapeutic modalities I apply. I also have extensive experience working with energy therapies and the active imagination.
Because I care deeply about supporting my clients through times of need, the relational guidance and support I maintain helps clients achieve their goals and overcome challenges. I especially connect with those who are struggling to find their way through life transitions and the difficulties encountered along the way. My own life experience informs and gives insight into these struggles, and my open, authentic, and non-judgmental personality helps clients to feel safe and at ease. Building trust and openness is key to my work, and I value each and everyone’s unique story and journey.
I also have a background in the creative and professional arts and this experience gives me a unique insight into supporting those who are creatives. Additionally, I have an insider's perspective on cross-cultural/expat issues and understand some of the challenges one meets when living in a country different from where they were born. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in East-West psychology with a focus on imaginal practices and their transformative potential.

I am an LCSW from CA. I am a rarity, as I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have lived all over southern California. I have also traveled throughout the state and known how the state is unique.
I have experience working with the military, Veterans, and their families. I also have experience working with families and children of all ages. I have experienced working with mental health, chronic pain and cancer.
This therapist only treats low to moderate clients.
If you need therapy for court, I may not be a good fit for you. I will not be providing session notes to the court on your behalf. Also depending on what the nature of court is/why you need treatment, may not go beyond the initial assessment/first visit. If I do not feel comfortable with the reason, nature of court or any of anything along those lines; I will not be moving forward. I feel that I need to be direct with this as I have already provided previously "if you are seeking services for court; I would NOT be able to help with that. Please find another provider." Yet I am still receiving these referrals; therefore I am being direct about this and what expectations are.
My journey to mental healthcare
I did a lot of volunteer work and held a few AmeriCorps positions (America's version of PeaceCorps). I fell in love with helping people and I was told in order to achieve this, I would need to go back to school and complete my MSW.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) based in Irvine, California, and I work with clients throughout the state via tele-health. I work with Adults and specialize in anxiety and stress disorders using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help my clients explore their triggers, emotions, develop coping skills, and achieve positive life changes.
I have been in the field of mental health for 29 years.
My goal as a therapist is to help you achieve ultimate happiness and peace in your life.
As human beings we can not go back and change our past but we can find the tools that can help us live our lives fully and find the ways to use our full potential. I will listen to you and will try my best to support you in finding the path to happiness by practicing and using the tools and methods that are helpful and tangible.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I take a client-centered approach to treatment, ensuring that each session is tailored to the unique needs and goals of my clients. In my sessions, I would like to hear from you. Think of me as an observer in your art gallery, not as a critic, but as someone who appreciates your vision and the story you tell. You are the artist, and as such, you will explain to me your pieces, your vision, and your creations. I will take these all in and reflect back to you your work, and if appropriate, draw parallels from your earlier creations.
I an seasoned, compassionate, active, and direct therapist with 20+ years of experience. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique story to help you reach your personal and professional potential. My approach, although collaborative and client-centered, tends to be direct and relies heavily on CBT methods as well as other strategies.
I believe that connection is key and that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of successful treatment. I believe relationships and connections are key factors that guide us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Getting to know you as an individual and developing a sound working relationship with mutual dignity and respect are key values that motivate me in my therapy practice. My goal as your therapist is to help you work toward living a happier, more fulfilling life.
My sessions can be very structured (usually with CBT, assignments, readings, and homework) or I can simply lend an empathetic ear. Each session and client are unique and I tailor my approach as needed.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After completing training in 1999 at Southwest Missouri State University, I began practicing therapy in several different settings over 20 years ago. I have experience practicing in inpatient psychiatric care, foster care, group homes, home health and hospice, school settings, and private practice. Hi, I'm Eva.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, tired and just not as active in your life as you would like to be? Feeling challenged with just keeping up with everyday activities. Seem to forget to take care of yourself, that everybody else comes before you?
I help people like yourself to get back to feeling more positive, less tired, burnt out, isolated and lonely.
We will together come up with a plan for how to best work on the issues that you want to change. We will use an approach that you feel most comfortable with, and work toward a life that gives back pleasure, harmony and ease.
Whether you are dealing with a situational situation or a longer-term struggle I'll be there to support you through your work.
You have already taken a big step in the right direction just by reading through different clinicians' statements. The next step is to choose a clinician, contact Growth Therapy and set up an appointment. Sometimes these are the hardest steps to take.
One of my most important goals is to provide you with a safe space where you feel validated, and supported and provide you with no judgment, compassion and respect.
My commitment is to help you build self-awareness, strengthen emotional well-being, and feel more empowered in your life. Therapy with me is a safe, supportive space where we’ll develop practical tools you can rely on—not just for what you’re facing now, but for what comes next.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you create lasting change and move toward a life that feels steadier, healthier, and more fully your own.
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Maybe it’s the result of a specific incident which impairs our ability to cope, heal and progress, or perhaps the culmination of longstanding habits, that render unfulfilling or even detrimental results. I make every effort to empower clients to evolve beyond their instincts if the results have prevented them from reaching their goals. I approach each client with curiosity in an attempt to shed light on their unique decision making process and to enhance their ability to make more healthful choices.
While this process is often started through difficult and sometimes traumatic circumstances, the best results take place when the therapist you have chosen respects you enough to challenge you to step out of your comfort zone.
Effective therapy is built on safety, partnership, trust, risk-taking and respect. When practiced consistently, the likelihood is increased that these very principles will be applied to your personal relationships in productive and positive ways. I look forward to our work together.
Hi there, I'm Emily.
Do you feel overwhelmed with work, personal life, past trauma, and relationships? Are you struggling to keep up with it all? Is it hard to be kind to yourself?
By working together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. I recognize how overwhelming seeking therapy can feel, but you are making an important choice for you. During our sessions together I will provide a space for you to heal, while bringing evidence-based techniques to provide growth. I look forward to meeting with you!

Hello There! I'm Samantha. Nice to meet you (virtually).
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in helping high-functioning professionals navigate burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, intergenerational patterns, and fertility struggles. I'm direct yet compassionate—I won't waste your time. You'll find me warm, present, and genuinely invested in helping you build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling, not just managing symptoms.
I'm a therapist who empower individuals to overcome the burden of unrealistic expectations and maintain healthy boundaries through self-reflection and emotion regulation. I believe in discovering our true selves while maintaining healthy boundaries and nurturing relationships.
Allow me to be your sounding board and holding space to be vulnerable. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and non-judgment.
Together we will work towards improving self-care, healthy boundaries, mindfulness, and bringing joy back into your life.
I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life.
“Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”

Hello, and welcome. My name is Amber Boyd, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should feel like a collaborative and affirming space where you can show up fully as yourself. My work is rooted in authenticity, curiosity, and compassion, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel both supported and empowered in their healing process.
As a Black, queer, femme-identified therapist, I understand the importance of having spaces where our identities, experiences, and stories are acknowledged and respected. I approach therapy with warmth and openness, helping clients explore their challenges while also recognizing the strengths and resilience they already carry.
Together, we work to deepen self-awareness, strengthen coping tools, and move toward a life that feels more aligned, grounded, and authentic.
Hi there, as a licensed Clinical Psychologist, I offer a space in which we pay close attention to what is happening within and around you, emotionally, physically, relationally and provide a safe space in order to do so. We work together to connect you to the underlying meaning of your pain, bringing not only relief but an increased capacity to tolerate future struggles. Part of our work will involve exploring your life's patterns and expanding the awareness needed to helpfully move them in your desired direction. You will grow non-judgmental curiosity about yourself and others through this process, which will nurture a more authentic engagement in your relationships. The way I work is typically integrative, which means I draw from several theories in order to meet the immediate as well as underlying patterns of behavior that may not be serving you.
I work with individuals who want to move beyond simply managing day-to-day challenges and toward understanding the deeper roots of what they’re experiencing. My approach focuses not only on coping strategies, but on helping you explore where patterns, emotions, and reactions come from so we can address them at their source. As that deeper work unfolds, many people find that their day-to-day symptoms naturally begin to ease.
I incorporate EMDR into much of my work, not only for trauma but also as a tool for processing a wide range of experiences and concerns. I see therapy as collaborative. We work together, but I also believe that you are the most important resource in this process. My role is to support, guide, and help you access the insight and resilience you already carry within you.
With over twenty five years of experience in Community Mental Health and ten plus years as a clinician, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life's challenges. My approach is flexible and personalized because I believe that each individual is unique. I meet clients where they are, tailoring my methods to best support their individual healing journey. My personal and professional journey—rich with both challenges and rewards—has shaped me into the compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable professional I am today.

My goal is to help you feel more secure, connected, and confident in your relationships and in yourself.
I am authentic genuine, warm, direct and client centered. I have worked in Residential treatment centers, conducted risk assessments in hospital settings , worked in skilled nursing facilities , worked as a Program Director and have experience working with families, couples and individuals. I believe in the field and am excited for every interaction and opportunity when individuals show up for themselves. I am honored to join in the journey to aid with tools to assist with living life from a place of abundance and courage.
