Clarissa is the founder and lead therapist at Magnifying Growth, LLC. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH 18473) in the state of Florida and has been in the mental health field for over 5 years working with a variety of populations . She graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. While in active service with the United States Navy , she continued with her passion for family domestic violence advocacy. This passion evolved overtime and has transitioned into a passion project to assist post incarcerated adults/adolescents and their families to work collaboratively for a successful reintegration into the family system and environment. Clarissa has a primary focus to support the growth of those who experience difficulty with managing their emotions and those walking into a new chapter in their lives journey and noticing more of a challenge with coping with the changes. She is here for you, to help your achieve growth, gains and goals.

Clarissa utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach as a foundation for evidenced based services but also recognizes the importance of the individual and a tailored approach. She is skilled in her ability to identify strategies and techniques and adapt them to create a customized treatment experience.
