I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I focus on working with adults with various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, spirituality, addiction, eating disorders, and parenting issues just to name a few things. I am professionally, personally, and academically trained to provide faith based counseling. I completed my MA from Wheaton College and my BS from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will have a brief introduction, then we will start. I will begin by asking you what brought you in, what goals you have, what you want to work on, and what you want to say to me. I will give you space to talk about whatever is on your mind. I will review confidentiality and counseling expectations as well as give you space to ask me questions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to connect with individuals on a unique level and seeing everyone as a unique person with their own experiences. I know the therapeutic relationship is different but I also know that each therapeutic relationship is special in its own way.
