In my clinical work, I gain perspective and understanding of real-life challenges of clients that have experienced personal struggles. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life issues. The goal is to best support the client to recognize what they need out of therapy.
In my practice, I coordinate with individuals to develop treatment plans that are sensitive to their specific needs and realistic in nature.
My treatment approach is always tailored to clients and I offer comfort, understanding, support, guidance, sincerity, honesty and direction.
CBT has been my approach in identify troubling situations or conditions in the patients life. In identifying and supporting awareness of thoughts, emotions and physical change about the presenting problems it will strengthen coping skills. The goal is to support identifying negative and inaccurate thinking by reshaping thinking patterns.
The approach is to engage and build rapport to effectively assess and understand the presenting issues within the family dynamics. The structuring and of increasing active listening, communication and validation is important to elevate the relationship between family members.
