Hello! My name is Maggie Krol and I am glad we found each other. I am a compassionate and experienced online therapist specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based stress reduction and trauma-informed care. With over 15 years of experience, I provide a safe, confidential space for individuals seeking support with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and personal growth. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2005 and worked in a variety of small business and social service settings before moving to Florida for my Masters in Social Work. While going to school for my MSW, I worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, hospice, schools and one on one with children. In 2019, I received my Professional Educator License (PEL/Type 73) which allows me to work in school settings.
I strongly believes in the power of self-awareness and empowerment, using evidence-based techniques to help clients navigate challenges and develop practical coping strategies. I am known for my warm, non-judgmental approach which fosters a collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in achieving their mental health goals.
As an online therapist I am well regarded for my creativity, nurturing care, and a results-driven approach. As a results-driven therapist, I prioritize measurable outcomes and continuous progress. By setting clear, achievable goals with my clients, I empower them to track their growth and celebrate their milestones. Working online, I excel at using technology to foster connection and provide engaging, impactful sessions. My creativity allows me to use digital tools in unique ways to keep therapy dynamic and effective.
I offer flexible online therapy sessions, working with individuals from all walks of life. Whether you're looking to manage day-to-day stress or process deeper emotional struggles, I am here to guide you toward a healthier, more balanced life.
Psych-educational therapy combines elements of psychological therapy with educational principles to help individuals better understand and cope with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. I often use this approach to provide clients with knowledge about their conditions, teach coping strategies, and build skills for managing their well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used therapeutic approach that focuses on helping individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors in order to improve emotional regulation and develop healthier coping mechanisms. I often work with individuals, families, and communities to address a range of emotional, psychological, and social issues, can incorporate CBT in various settings to help clients overcome challenges.
Trauma-informed therapy is an approach I use which recognizes the widespread impact of trauma on individuals and integrates this understanding into the therapeutic process. This type of therapeutic approach helps create safe, supportive environments for clients who have experienced trauma. This approach emphasizes safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
