Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), US Air Force veteran, and graduate of UT Arlington’s School of Social Work. I am passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths and navigate the challenges life can bring. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable expressing your true self. My goal is to walk alongside you as you learn and develop healthy coping skills that empower you to face life’s difficulties with resilience and confidence. Together, we will work to uncover your unique strengths and build a foundation of support, so you can feel confident in your ability to handle whatever life throws your way.
Are there things in your life that you want to change to be happier, feel better about yourself, come to terms with things from the past, or have better relationships with others? If you do, I believe that counseling can help you achieve the kind of life you want to have.
I'm a clinical psychologist specializing in treatment of post traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and I am trained in multiple types of therapies.
I'm originally from Oregon, but I have spent most of my adult life in Texas and a few years overseas in Asia and Europe. In addition to private practice, I have been a military psychologist, Veterans Affairs psychologist, PTSD clinic director, Psycho-Social Rehabilitation clinic director, and adjunct clinical assistant professor at UT Health medical school, as well as participating in major research projects in treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder. I believe that therapy is a science as well as an art, and I have found that my knowledge of clinical research can greatly improve the results of counseling. I have found that counseling can be very effective at helping people make the kinds of changes that they desire in their lives, help them to have a healthier sense of self, more satisfying relationships with others, and a better quality of life.
I'm confident that you can meet your goals with a bit of work and the right treatment plan.
I have personal life experience and healed through drama & trauma that life brings. I live a robust fulfilling life due attending therapy myself and utiliizing the techniques and assignments provided me. I have been practicing 10 + years assisting others as a Licensed Professional Counselor to achieve those goals in their life. Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I specialize in trauma focused therapy and men’s issues. I have done extensive trauma focused therapy with First Responders, Veterans and Military Personnel. I use CPT/CBT/DBT which are all therapies that address negative feedback loops. I am knowledgeable in how trauma affects the brain and how it impacts the client’s life in negative ways. The therapy approaches I use help heal and change those negative effects.
In addition to the methods I use for individual counseling I also help couple’s heal their relationships using Gottman’s Method.
I am an LPC offering therapy to children, teens and adults. I believe it very important to understand how our past shapes and influences our present choices. I believe we see and relate to the world the way we were shaped from an early age. Knowing who we are and how we see and perceive the world helps us understand and relate better to ourselves and others.

Hello, I'm Kim! I've wanted to be in a helping profession since I can remember; I just didn't know exactly how. I fell in love with Social Work during a global childrens’ health course in undergrad in 2005 and the rest is history. I continued studying Social Work, Psychology and Sociology and learning as much as I could inside and outside the classroom. I’ve worked in many different professional settings including child welfare, managing group homes for individuals with disabilities, early intervention assessment and skills training, care management in a domestic violence survivor program, and as a mental health technician, social worker in an emergency department, therapist and Assistant Clinical Director in a psychiatric hospital. I am Pam C. Lyons, a Certified Professional Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor for 15 years, and 20 plus years of life experience. I understand what it means to reinvent and rebuild my life several times as a Hurricane Katrina Survivor and as a businesswoman.
My practice serves as a safe place to the Texas community and a beacon of light. The slogan “Reinvent the World” was inspired by all the shared traumatic experiences going on in the world due to Covid 19, increase in mental and physical health problems, racism, toxic politics, lack of safety for our children, poverty, economic challenges, women not receiving equal pay, women rights being infringed upon, and survivors of natural disasters. We need a space to express our traumatic experiences safely, to be listened to and understood with empathy and compassion, and to receive coping tools to become the best version of ourselves so we can create a better world for our future generations.

Hi, I’m Carrie Allen, MS, LPC, NCC — a trauma therapist, creative soul, and lifelong student of what it means to be human. I’m licensed in Alabama, Missouri, Texas, and Florida, and I specialize in helping clients untangle the effects of trauma, stress, and relational pain so they can reconnect with their sense of self, safety, and purpose.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, combining science, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor. I draw from Trauma-Focused CBT, Attachment-Based Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (I’m trained, not certified, in CPP). These approaches allow me to meet clients where they are—whether that’s building emotional safety, rewriting old narratives, or learning how to regulate the nervous system and reengage with life on your own terms.
Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and real. You won’t get a blank stare or a “how does that make you feel?” on repeat. I show up as a human first and a therapist second—curious, grounded, and genuinely invested in helping you move toward healing that actually lasts. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences shape your present patterns, and how to build a future that feels aligned with who you’re becoming.
Outside of sessions, I recharge through writing, gaming, crocheting, and wandering in nature. I’m a proud stepmom to two amazing girls, a lover of deep conversations, and a firm believer that healing often shows up in the small, ordinary moments—cooking dinner, laughing with friends, or finally exhaling after a long day.
If we work together, you can expect honesty, empathy, and the occasional well-timed laugh. I’ll challenge you when it’s needed, hold space when it’s heavy, and remind you that you are not broken—you’re growing.

HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS! That is the key!! With 26 years of experience, much research, studying, and face to face experience living and working all over the world, I realized relationships with yourself and with others can make or break our contentment in life! But there are skills to learn to make it happen, skills such as self-awareness, ability to pay attention to the world around us and our own bodies (mindfulness), learning to grieve and let go while embracing change, learning the characteristics of a healthy relationship with others and with ourselves, and accessing our strengths while focusing on the beauty in life. I'd love to walk with you through this process to restore hope.

We can't control all the pain that will come our way, but we can control how we react to it. Of course, this is sometimes easier said than done and we need help. I would be honored to assist you in your journey towards a happier healthier you.
Hello! I’m Dr. Jennifer Outlaw, a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Independent Social Worker practicing in Maryland, Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas. With over a decade of experience, I have had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, service members, and veterans in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. My primary goal is to foster well-being through comprehensive assessment, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment of mental health and substance use concerns.
As a U.S. Army veteran, I have a deep understanding of the unique experiences and challenges faced by service members and veterans. This background fuels my passion for providing tailored support to this community. I am also dedicated to addressing multicultural and diversity issues, ensuring that care is culturally sensitive and respectful of each individual’s background.
In our sessions, you can expect a warm, authentic, and compassionate environment where your experiences and feelings are truly valued. My approach is client-centered, prioritizing your goals and needs as we work together. I believe that genuine connection and support are vital to navigating life’s challenges and fostering personal growth.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading historical romance novels and watching zombie movies — hobbies that help me unwind and maintain a balanced perspective.
I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and well-being. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.
