Greetings Beloved Clients! I am Pam C. Lyons, a Certified Professional Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor for 15 years, and 20 plus years of life experience. I understand what it means to reinvent and rebuild my life several times as a Hurricane Katrina Survivor and as a businesswoman. My practice serves as a safe place to the Texas community and a beacon of light. The slogan “Reinvent the World” was inspired by all the shared traumatic experiences going on in the world due to Covid 19, increase in mental and physical health problems, racism, toxic politics, lack of safety for our children, poverty, economic challenges, women not receiving equal pay, women rights being infringed upon, and survivors of natural disasters. We need a space to express our traumatic experiences safely, to be listened to and understood with empathy and compassion, and to receive coping tools to become the best version of ourselves so we can create a better world for our future generations.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

From the moment I met Mrs. Pam, I knew that I had met someone who was genuinely dedicated and committed to helping me work through my problems. All of Mrs. Pam work is rooted in current counseling theory. She tailored my treatment plan to my goals and every session was directly aligned to those goals. My counseling journey with Mrs. Pam has truly transformed my life for the better and empowered me to be the person I have always wanted to be. I cannot recommend Mrs. Pam enough.” -Anna Green

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I implement CBT into therapy by utilizing a thought Log or ABCDE log, identify cognitive distortions, ways to challenge those thinking errors with DE-catastrophizing or Socratic Questioning.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I implement principles of ACT Matrix for clients who are adjusting to a new norm, accepting a medical diagnosis, life transitions, displaced due to natural disaster, victim of microaggression/racism, and goal-setting trauma.

Compassion Focused

I meet a client where they are and help them replace self-critical thinking with affirmations, self-compassion, unconditional love, and gratitude practices.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I implement this therapeutic modality into therapy by helping clients understand the root cause and meaning by using language of their emotions when they are feeling emotionally dysregulated.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I combine counseling and coaching where it appears as therapeutic coaching, which can lead to an accelerated form of counseling and progress. Showing up to therapy is 20% Doing the therapy work and using the skillset of coping skills is 80% for one's breakthrough.
