HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS! That is the key!! With 28 years of experience, much research, studying, and face to face experience living and working all over the world, I realized relationships with yourself and with others can make or break our contentment in life! But there are skills to learn to make it happen, skills such as self-awareness, ability to pay attention to the world around us and our own bodies (mindfulness), learning to grieve and let go while embracing change, learning the characteristics of a healthy relationship with others and with ourselves, and accessing our strengths while focusing on the beauty in life. I'd love to walk with you through this process to restore hope.
Your first session is a time to get to know each other and discover what you would like to change in your life....what brings you to therapy at this time in your life? This session is to see if we are a good fit. We will go as fast or slow as you like, since you dictate the pace. At the end of the first session, I will ask you if you feel this is a good fit and you would like to move forward with weekly sessions. Again, you are in control.

Since I have grown up over seas and worked in many cultures, I am passionate about working with every culture, gender, race, and identity. I admire your courage to take the first step to ask for help.
I believe that we are relational beings and how we relate to others, and to ourselves, is foundational to the way we choose to navigate our lives. I'd love to walk with you as you learn to heal the relationships in your life.
I am constantly amazed at how resilient people are! But often I believe we are our own worst enemies when it comes to our thoughts. CBT addresses how our thoughts affect our feelings and thus our behaviors. We can't control what pops into our head (ha, ha) but we CAN choose what we DWELL on. Let me help you.
EMDR is one techniques that I am trained to use for extreme trauma. However, there are many others as well so Iet's discuss the options and YOU choose.
As both a secular and Christian trained therapist, I am honored to be able to engage with my clients holistically...mind, body and spirit. However, I respect your beliefs, having grown up overseas, exposed to hundreds of different cultures and religions my whole life. It is always my goal to make you feel "spiritually safe in the therapy room."
I have been trained in Gottman techniques for COUPLES work and I love to blend them in with other modalities, as needed. I believe every couple's situation is unique, so it's important to have many methods to face challenges. You choose which is best for you!
