I am an LPC offering therapy to children, teens and adults. I believe it very important to understand how our past shapes and influences our present choices. I believe we see and relate to the world the way we were shaped from an early age.

First session
During our initial session the most important part is to discuss the goals for therapy, the approached that will most benefit client and perhaps a safety plan with an emergency contact in case we have an emergency.

Ideal clients
I love to work with clients that chose to be in therapy to better understand themselves and the people around them. Clients who are willing to be open and take risks and address difficult subject.
Treatment methods
Eclectic
I use many different approaches because I do not believe every person benefits from a "cookie cutter" approach. Life is complex and beautiful at the same time. My eclectic approach is often discuss in our initial session and together with the pt we discussed what is the best approach to use. I often like to visit the past to connect the dots and see where we are in the present moment and see what the person needs most.
