I specialized in working within the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities however I welcome those of all backgrounds, religions, and identifies. I will collaborate with you to develop goals tailored to your needs. I work with you in identifying and changing patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that are no longer serve you. Together we will explore your fears, values, and goals so that you can build the life you want. My goal is to help you find your inner wisdom to create change in how you navigate difficult personal, academic, social, and or emotional situations.
In my practice, I believe that the most profound healing happens when you feel truly seen and understood without judgment. I work with individuals who feel like they are constantly navigating a world that wasn't built for them; whether that’s due to the weight of past trauma, the daily "static" of ADHD, or the heavy, cycling exhaustion of anxiety and depression.
In addition to a Forensic Mental Health Counseling background, I am also certified clinical trauma professional and ADHD-certified clinical services provider. I whole-heartedly believe in meeting people where they are and adjusting to their needs in the current moment. From building coping mechanisms to understanding your own patterns better, I'm here.
Our first session is designed to feel relaxed, conversational, and pressure-free. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying emotionally, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You are always in control of what you choose to share.
By the end of our first session, we will have a clearer understanding of your immediate concerns, identified both short-term and long-term goals, and discussed what support looks like for you. I also like to make sure you leave knowing what to expect moving forward. My hope is that you walk away feeling seen, heard, and encouraged about the next steps in your healing journey.

I am an English speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R with almost 20 years of experience working in the Human Services field, with 15 years providing therapy to children, families and adults in need.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Human Services Counseling from Mount Olive College in N.C. and my Master’s in Social Work from Binghamton University in N.Y. I’ve worked in a number of different clinical settings, with a wide array of individuals.
I have a strong background in trauma, and specific trauma resolution strategies and interventions. Additionally, I have a great deal of experience working in the child welfare field supporting children and families through healing wounds and progressively moving towards sustaining family connection. I utilize a holistic, individualized approach that is lead by meeting the client exactly where they are.
