I’m a Black male therapist in my 30s who is passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, relationships, identity, and life transitions. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. My approach is collaborative and practical, drawing from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while honoring each person’s unique experiences, culture, and strengths.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, you can expect a calm, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I take my time and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, asking thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, goals, and what you hope to gain from our work. You won’t be rushed or pressured to share anything you’re not ready for. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe as we begin building a therapeutic relationship and outlining what support can look like moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What often stands out about my approach is the balance between honesty, compassion, and deep commitment to my clients’ growth. I am authentic and transparent in session, and I’m not afraid to gently challenge patterns that keep people stuck. I believe meaningful change sometimes requires sitting with discomfort, asking hard questions, and staying engaged even when things feel difficult. At the same time, I work hard to create a trusting, respectful relationship where clients feel supported rather than judged. I’m willing to walk alongside you through tough moments, hold space for your emotions, and collaborate with you as we move toward the life and relationships you want to build.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults, young adults, and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about their next steps in life or relationships. Many of the clients I support struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, communication issues, life transitions, and the pressure to be everything for everyone else. I also work with individuals navigating identity concerns, cultural stress, and the impact of family patterns that no longer serve them. I’m especially passionate about helping people slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and build healthier ways of coping and connecting. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical focused on creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as you move toward meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the primary approaches I use in my practice. I help clients notice patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and understand how these influence daily stress, relationships, and self-esteem. Together, we work to gently challenge unhelpful beliefs, develop healthier coping strategies, and build skills clients can use outside of sessions.
