Are you someone who finds yourself feeling unseen or misunderstood in traditional therapy settings? Have you noticed that standard, “one-size-fits-all” approaches don't align with your cultural identities, needs, and experiences? If so, you are in the right place, and I’m so happy you’re here. I’m Kamaria :) I’m an intuitive, decolonized, and depth-oriented therapist who enjoys helping people connect with themselves. My practice is built on anti-oppressive and decolonial values, and centers Black/Brown people, as well as LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, and liberatory-focused individuals across all backgrounds. I combine clinical techniques, social awareness, and ancestral healing wisdoms to create a culturally-attuned and systemically-informed healing space - one which allows you to express authentically, and does not require you to code-switch, mask, or defend/abandon the identities, needs, values, or experiences integral to your existence. I take a humanistic, collaborative approach and pull from a diverse set of modalities that honor where you’re at, and help us move closer to who you truly are and where you want to be. I’m not here to pathologize you or your experiences, or convince you that I have all the answers. I’m here to walk alongside you as you connect further with yourself, develop awareness as the expert of your own life, and define wellness on your own terms.

I’m a therapist who keeps things real and meets people where they’re at. I work with adults dealing with trauma, stress, and life transitions, and my goal is to create a space where you can just be yourself without feeling judged. I use a mix of approaches depending on what actually works for you—including EMDR or TF-CBT for trauma and an integrative mental health approach that looks at the whole picture, not just symptoms. That can mean talking through things, building practical coping skills, or exploring how your mind and body are connected. I’m supportive, but also honest and direct when it matters. Therapy with me is a collaborative process—we figure things out together. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’ve been through, feel more grounded, and start moving forward in a way that actually feels meaningful to you.

Hi, I’m Amy. I live in Missouri with my husband, our sweet dog, and two very sassy cats who keep life lively. Being both a military spouse and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has shaped who I am, both personally and professionally. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through life’s many transitions, challenges, and seasons of growth. My journey into social work began with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska, followed by a master’s from the University of Maine. For more than 20 years, I’ve been walking alongside people as they navigate anxiety, trauma, infertility, grief, and the everyday pressures of life. What I love most about this work is creating a safe, supportive space where people can feel heard, understood, and empowered to reconnect with themselves. At the heart of my approach is the belief that healing is possible—and that resilience can grow even in the most difficult circumstances. Whether we’re working through painful past experiences or exploring new ways to cope with stress, my goal is to help you find hope, balance, and a deeper sense of self. As a dual-licensed LPCC and LMHC, I bring advanced clinical training, depth of experience, and a genuine commitment to helping clients experience meaningful and lasting change. I am a Certified Shame-Informed Treatment Specialist and hold certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Core Skills, allowing me to work skillfully with the deeper emotional patterns that often drive anxiety, depression, trauma responses, addiction, and relational struggles. My approach is both evidence-based and deeply compassionate. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), positive psychology, and structured psychoeducation to create treatment that is practical, personalized, and effective. Whether we are identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, resolving shame, or clarifying your values and goals, our work will be intentional and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel safe, grounded, and purposeful. Clients often come to me seeking relief from overwhelm, self-doubt, relational pain, or internal conflict. Through IFS and shame-informed work, we gently explore the parts of you that may feel stuck, burdened, or misunderstood—while building self-leadership, confidence, and resilience. Client satisfaction and measurable progress are central to my work. I regularly assess growth, refine goals, and ensure our sessions remain aligned with what matters most to you. My aim is not just symptom reduction, but helping you develop clarity, emotional stability, and a deeper sense of peace of mind. If you are ready for thoughtful, structured, and transformative therapy, I would be honored to support you.

Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been practicing for over 20 years. I work with adults, couples, and families including children, and adolescents. My goal is to work with each person individually from a person-centered perspective. I want you to feel that you are in control of your progress by identifying your needs and focusing on your strengths . My specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, post-partum depression, parenting, chronic illness, and grief. I am available to see clients in Kentucky in-person or telehealth, and Michigan or Minnesota via telehealth. The person centered approach means that the client is the center of everything from the initial assessment, to the development of the goals, to the treatment that is provided. It is important that you know you are accepted and with therapy you are able to address the concerns you have and learn to effectively work through them. I understand therapy can feel uncomfortable and the thought of sharing yourself with someone you don't know (yet) can be overwhelming. Give me a call and we can talk for an initial conversation to see if it will be a good fit.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker based in Bowling Green, KY who has an obsession with Dolly Parton, Pekingese dogs, and New Orleans. I cuss sometimes, I can't cook, and I can juggle. I have also been in practice since 2017 and have worked with clients experiencing substance abuse, severe anxiety, ADHD, depression, racial trauma history, sexual trauma, and grief and loss. I believe that therapy can awaken parts of us that hold more strength than we know and that learning more about those parts of ourselves is vital to healing. Therapy gives back to us the power and the peace that might be eluding us because of pain and confusion of trauma or neglect. I have seen the way therapy can heal and inspire change, and it is the highest honor of my life to walk alongside my clients in their journey. As a therapist, I still haven't found magic words to make it all better or take it all away. But in sessions with me, you will feel heard and seen. I will always keep your life and therapy goals in mind. I will support and challenge you with humor and sincerity. And did I mention that sometimes I cuss? When you're ready, I'm here.

Welcome! I am a warm, non-judgemental and real person. One of my basic tenants is we, as people, are doing the best we can, and sometimes our conscious or subconscious "plan" to take care of ourselves is just not working anymore. Sometimes we need to develop a new “plan” but that can be difficult and we need help. The relationship with ourselves, family, friends and our community is a pillar to good health and well being. However things get in the way….like trauma, substance use, addiction, depression, anxiety, loneliness, illness, & fear. I want to support your concerns and help you improve your sense of wellbeing.

Hi, I'm Chris, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field helping individuals with a wide range of emotional and life issues. I use evidence-based therapeutic strategies as well as a person-centered approach to individualize your needs, abilities and means to achieve your goals. Having lived, studied & worked in rural America, large cities, military, civilian, blue and white collar jobs, I relate to a wide spectrum of people. If you’re looking for an ally who can offer hope while centering on achievable goals, an empathetic ear to hear underlying solutions to your problems, a way forward to tap into your inherent strengths and skills, then get in touch and lets make life better. I work with individuals who have likely been struggling for many years, sometimes have more than one identified issue and are unsure of how to change how they feel, improve their relationships or see things getting better for themselves. Throughout my life I have had many mentors and supports who have helped me grow as a person and as a therapist. The enjoyment of being part of helping people find a life that is fulfilling motivates me even after almost 30 years to do this work. I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist because it was an approach that was strength based and free from the blame that in some way we are broken. I have learned that many things impact the choices and decisions we make and instead of focusing on what is wrong the better thing to do is find out what an individual or couple's strengths are and take those, build upon them so that the person/ couple can heal old wounds and find a better way of living. That does not mean ignoring problems, it means healing so that you can better solve your problems.

Welcome my friends. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, a devout Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again. Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it! I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 20 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It is time well spent to analyze our guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!

Hi, I’m Marie — a therapist who believes that change is always possible, no matter where you are in life. My goal is to help you feel better emotionally, think more clearly, and move toward a future that feels fulfilling and peaceful. In our sessions, we’ll work together to understand what’s been holding you back and find practical ways to move forward. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice how your thoughts affect your emotions and actions—and teach you tools to shift negative thinking. I also use a solution-focused approach, which means we’ll focus on your strengths, celebrate what’s working, and create small, realistic steps that bring real progress. I often work with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or major life changes—like adjusting after a loss, a new diagnosis, or changes that come with getting older. My approach is supportive and empowering. I want you to feel heard, encouraged, and equipped with the tools to handle life’s challenges with more confidence and hope.

I decided to become a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) therapist because I have always enjoyed helping people realize their potential, and when I was getting out of the army, I had a therapist to help me through that transition, which inspired me to follow this career path. When people experience trauma and stress, there is a tendency to develop a zoomed-in view of the problem and even blame themselves for the root of the problem. I am here to help you develop a more helpful and realistic outlook and note available solutions to what is going on. I have education and experience treating clients who have gone through trauma, and clients who have symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

Hi, I'm Megan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Louisville, Kentucky with over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. I offer weekend and evening telehealth services to teens and adults as they manage issues related to stress, relationships, anxiety, trauma, and depression. My flexible schedule allows those I serve to find the support and guidance they need outside while still being able to pursue self-care without jeopardizing other work or school commitments. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based form of psychotherapy that uses acceptance, mindfulness, and behavior modification strategies to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and increase psychological flexibility. While I have experience providing treatment for diverse populations and needs, my focus remains on helping individuals navigate through their anxiety and stress. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and supportive. I believe in working together to help you discover the best, healthiest, and most authentic version of yourself. Through support, skill-building, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, we can work together to help you achieve your goals and find balance. You deserve to find relief, know peace, and achieve happiness. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey to well-being. If you're ready to take the next step, let's connect and start this journey together

Hi, I'm Jess! My background over the years is primarily in grief, anxiety, life transitions, and emergency psychiatry. I have been able to assist clients in some of the darkest times of their lives and it's an honor to sit in this space with you. Grief touches us all in so many different forms and when the unexpected happens, we don't always act in line with who we are or who we want to be. Together, we will focus on being rooted in the present to develop the tools you need to make it to the other side. Life transitions come with so many ranges of emotions and what we can do is unpack your emotions, learn how to manage them, and set goals for the future you want. My approach is welcoming, direct, and catered to your specific needs.
