Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana. I have worked in the mental health field for 20 years in a variety of settings. I currently work individually with adolescents and adults of all ages who are struggling with a variety of concerns. Some of the issues I work most frequently with include depression, anxiety, women’s issues, post-partum depression/anxiety, trauma, stress management, support through life transitions, supporting care-givers and parents, grief, Bipolar Disorder, and Adjustment Disorders. I use an eclectic approach to help clients work through their problems with the primary treatment method used being Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Life can be so challenging, and sometimes we can seem to lose our way – getting lost in the spinning, the confusion, the uncertainty. Emotions can feel like they spiral or swing so rapidly that it can feel difficult to find stable ground, let alone direction for our lives.
Maybe you have experienced this – that shift between anxiety & depression & irritability – that sense of feeling lost or struggling to see a way forward in your life.
Working with adults and seniors over the past 15 years, in inpatient settings, intensive outpatient treatment, and individual therapy, I am an empathetic ear and a believer that growth and change are always possible, no matter how lost we may feel.
Mrs. Whiteside has worked in various mental health settings maintaining her unwavering focus on mothers and small children. As a perinatal psychotherapist, Mrs. Whiteside works with mothers and/or families who are struggling with perinatal mental illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Mrs. Whiteside is currently a social work doctoral student at The University of Louisville researching the impact of perinatal mood disorders, as evidence indicates that depression and other mood disorders in parents can have a harmful impact on children, including cognitive difficulties, insecure attachment, and behavioral problems.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) practicing in Indiana. I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Focused care for over 14 years, I have had the privilege to witness countless number of individuals reach their personal goals and aspirations beyond their original expectations. As a therapist, I place a strong emphasis on the value of providing a safe space for all my clients that promotes personal healing, growth, self-discovery, and empowerment for them to ultimately create, and sustain, meaningful changes that improve their overall quality of life.
I became a therapist because I believe people are worth fighting for — including the parts of themselves they've written off, hidden away, or learned to manage instead of heal. That conviction drives everything I do.
I work with women, teen girls, and couples, and I've spent over seven years walking alongside people in some of the hardest seasons of their lives. What I've learned is that the struggles that bring people to therapy rarely start where they think they do. So we go deeper — not to dredge up the past for its own sake, but because real, lasting change usually requires understanding what's actually driving things.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) as the foundation of my work. In plain terms, that means I'm not here to fix you or diagnose what's wrong with you. I'm here to help you understand yourself — all of yourself, including the parts that feel difficult or contradictory — with a lot more compassion and a lot less judgment.
My faith is part of who I am, and it shapes how I see every person I work with: as someone with real worth, real capacity for change, and a story that isn't over. How much that shows up in our sessions is entirely up to you. Some clients want faith woven throughout. Others just want to know their whole self is welcome. Either way, you're in the right place.
I'm currently offering telehealth sessions in Indiana and Michigan.
I am a LCSW with several years of experience in the mental health field. I also have experience with school based social work. I look forward to meeting with new clients and making our time together a place where you feel safe to be your authentic self while being able to grow in your mental health journey. If you have questions, please reach out.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor in Indiana.
Having worked in myriad settings already since getting my LSW in 2018, and having been in helping professions since age 19, the reason I still love this line of work is due to the change one can bring to people's Worlds, in a way they may have never thought possible. I am client-centered and focused on making it so my clients don't need therapy anymore, by freeing them of mental maladies that many decide to internalize, instead of cure.

I’m Phillip, a therapist dedicated to helping people grow into the version of themselves they’ve been working toward—often while navigating heavy pressure. My background as an educator and counselor has fueled my passion for supporting others as they untangle complex expectations and begin to cultivate a value-fueled, authentic life. I understand first hand the struggle of struggling to 'be successful' while also exploring the answers to 'who am I?' As the son of Chinese immigrants from Mexico, raised in Mississippi, I personally understand the challenge of living between cultures and the "liminal spaces" where identity can feel uncertain.

One area I'm especially passionate about is supporting individuals living with chronic pain, infertility, IVF, and other medical conditions that affect mental health. These experiences can impact every part of life—including relationships, identity, self-esteem, and daily functioning—and you don't have to navigate them alone.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy traveling, attending live music events and art festivals, spending time in nature, with my dogs, and my family. I believe maintaining balance, connection, and meaningful experiences is an important part of overall well-being, and I encourage clients to discover what brings fulfillment and joy to their own lives.
I believe that when someone seeks therapy, they are reaching out because they want to move forward, feel less stuck, or find new ways to live well. I hold deep conviction that a meaningful, valued life is possible for anyone—even in the presence of disability, chronic pain or illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, or overwhelming life stress. I see psychotherapy as a collaborative space where we can discover the right pace and rhythm for facing those challenges: sometimes steady and gentle, sometimes more active and focused, always tailored to the person in front of me.

Hello! I began my social work journey in 2006 and have been working in the mental health field since I obtained my MSW in 2008. As a clinical social worker I have thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of helping individuals identify and address many mental health concerns and move towards the life they most desire. I am passionate about addressing the stigma around addictions and serious mental illness and I believe the best way to begin any mental health journey of recovery is with compassion and understanding. I work from a cognitive-behavioral perspective and I use a strengths-based orientation of empowerment to foster growth and progress. I feel that we are already our best selves-we just need some help letting go of the survival skills we've taken on to get through the toughest times in our lives. I am an advocate, an accountability partner, an empath and your greatest cheerleader. I'm excited to help you rediscover your best self and to claim the life you deserve.

You can call me Dan. From a young age I was interested in a career that focused on helping people. I smile when I think about it, but there was a time I thought a career in medicine was what I wanted but I am so bad at math that didn't work out very well. There was a time I thought I was being called into ministry as a pastor, and I wanted to be a pastor that could counsel, but circumstances didn't allow that to happen either. Maybe it's ironic and maybe it's not but I'm not really that much of a talker so I never dreamed that becoming a therapist would be my thing. But then again, therapy is a lot about listening and I do that really well. I enjoy helping others move from places of frustration, and sometimes despair to places of hope and healing. I have always been taught that people deserve respect and to be treated with dignity regardless of what their issue is or where they come from and that is a value I continue to hold. I also find it interesting that the three careers I pursued had their focus in the three things I still believe are important for a life of fulfillment, purpose, and contentment and those are physical health, spiritual health and mental health.
I received a Masters of Divinity degree in 1991, a Masters in Social Work degree in 1996 and my License as a Clinical Social Worker in 1997. I went back to school in 2016 and obtained a MBA in Healthcare Management in 2017. My 30 year career in mental health has been split between providing clinical services, supervising others in their provision of clinical services and administration in the area of Healthcare Quality and Compliance.

Biography: I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I facilitate the spiritual, mental and emotional healing process through talk therapy. The focus of most of my adult life has been to be a skilled helper to people in need. I’m also dedicated to supporting the family members and loved ones of those struggling with addiction or incarceration, helping them navigate their own emotional journeys with compassion and care. Additionally, I work closely with parents and families of children with complex behavioral issues, providing guidance and support to help them create a nurturing environment for their child’s growth and well-being.
In addition to this, I have experience helping clients through significant life transitions, such as starting a family, navigating college, or going through a divorce. I understand how overwhelming these changes can be and am here to provide empathetic support and practical tools to help my clients find stability and confidence during these times. I’m committed to walking alongside my clients and their families as they navigate these difficult transitions, offering understanding and support every step of the way.
