I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana and received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been a counselor for over 10 years, with 5 years of experience working in community mental health and also in private practice. I work with individuals who struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, and trauma. I also deal with faith based related issues and spirituality. I collaboratively work with clients to set and achieve their goals. I am passionate to help those who are hurting, those who seek healing, and those who desire to change. Clients elaborate on background information for first session. We discuss symptoms and stressors and begin to identify problem areas. After determining the most important areas of struggle, we begin developing and implementing goal setting on the journey of the change and healing process.

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with clients, which is an effective treatment modality that research shows is effective for various issues and mental health problems. In addition, using Solution-Focused Therapy is also effective for those who desire to achieve success over the course of a brief time period. I welcome clients who seek to incorporate faith/spirituality into counseling.
I serve clients who struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, trauma, and grief/loss issues. I also work with clients on faith/spirituality issues. Clients who are willing and motivated for therapy tend to see the best outcomes. I do not do marriage or couples counseling.
