Hello, I name is Richard Rogers and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 40+ years experience. I provide therapy to individual's and family's. I tend to be quite direct and to the point, as a means of respect. While most of us have been hurt/victimized by someone who loved us or were supposed to love us, we have survived. This is how I approach/interact with those in therapy, as Survivors We will work together by identifying strengths, improving those strengths and developing additional coping skills to improve your life

Rogers has helped me with my postpartum, anxiety, self identity, self confidence, and through my divorce. I have gained better understanding of past, my present circumstances, and negative situations didn’t define me. Life prior to working with him was basically a mess. All in all, great experience, a 10/10.

Richard is straight forward tell it how it is. He is very open about his commitment to working toward goals and issues at hand. I've been given outside resources as needed that are helpful. I'm held accountable for what I'm doing or not doing in a way that resonates and is easily understood. I leave my appointments with a better out look and understanding.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I find CBT to be useful in changing our behavioral choices which in turn improves our emotional functioning. We don't choose how we feel but we do choose how we act. Often our actions are strongly influenced by our emotions, so more effective management of our emotions will result in better behavioral choices promoting over all well being
