My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

About Me
Hi, friend — I’m Shawn, a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps people heal from the inside out through trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and motivational therapy.
I believe therapy should feel like a steady hand and a safe porch — a place to rest, reflect, and rebuild. Whether you’re untangling the impact of trauma, struggling with anxiety, or just feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to help you rediscover peace, purpose, and confidence in your life.
My Approach
My work is guided by compassion, grounded in neuroscience, and built on practical tools for real change. I combine:
Trauma Therapy – to help you process and release the weight of past experiences safely and gently.
Mindfulness Practices – to reconnect body and mind, quiet racing thoughts, and bring calm awareness to the present moment.
Motivational Therapy – to strengthen your sense of direction, boost confidence, and help you move from stuck to steady.
Each session is tailored to your needs — a balance of reflection, insight, and action. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, restore hope, and create new patterns that align with the life you want to live.

Hi! My name is Ivy and I'm an LCSW with a masters in social work from Columbia University. I've studied several different methods of psychotherapy and pull from all of them the information and skills that can benefit my clients. My specialty is working with adults who are experiencing feelings of anxiety that are negatively impacting their life. By helping them understand where their negative feelings are coming from, and providing information and the skills to manage them, I can help them feel better.
In my practice I value wellness for the mind and body. A comfortable and safe environment are my priorities, as we work towards meaningful personal and relational changes together. I have clinical expertise in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD, trauma, bi-polar disorder, and chronic medical conditions exacerbated by mental health. I provide an interactive therapeutic style for individuals, couples, and families. To do this, I integrate various methods and techniques to offer a personalized client centered approach. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, spirituality, motivational interviewing, and solution focused strategies inclusive of compassion and understanding.
It is my belief that all people are born precious and free. Along the way, life presents challenges that could contribute to an individual feeling unfulfilled, unseen, unheard, and misunderstood. Together, you and I will discover the root cause of the pain and implement a plan for healing.
I am here to help you examine and explore issues that make you feel stuck. I understand that each person is the driver of their own life and has within them the strength to overcome obstacles. I encourage introspection and observation of behavior, rather than judgement and negative self- talk. I believe therapy can be life changing, allow me the chance to help you.
Hello, my name is Celina Piernik. I offer virtual therapy sessions, allowing you to connect from the comfort of your own space. With a background as both an educator and counselor, I’ve always been dedicated to supporting others. My work is shaped by personal and professional life experiences, and I understand that we all need support at different points in our journey. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Mindfulness-Based Approach to help individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, self-confidence, trauma, and women’s issues.
I bring over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and am passionate about providing trauma-informed care to every client I work with. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting children, teens, young adults, parents, and families in a wide variety of diverse settings — from community-based programs to clinical environments — and I deeply value the unique strengths, stories, and challenges that each individual brings.
In my work, I believe that therapy is most effective when it’s individualized. Together, we will identify your personal strengths, explore what has been helpful for you in the past, and develop a plan that is tailored specifically to your needs, goals, and values. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, always keeping you at the center of the process, and work collaboratively to find what feels most effective and supportive for you.
As your therapist, my commitment is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and I strive to build a strong, trusting connection where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful growth and healing.
Whether you are navigating past trauma, managing stress or anxiety, facing life transitions, or seeking greater self-understanding, I am here to walk alongside you — helping you uncover your strengths and supporting you every step of the way.
I am of the mindset that treatment should be affordable for all and I am always open to discuss a sliding fee scale and other options available to you so you can comfortabley afford therapy.
