Hi! I'm Sandy. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, like you can't keep up with work, relationships, and your own health all at once? Is it hard to be kind to yourself these days? I help people work through anxiety, depression, and self-doubt, along with big life transitions and the effects of trauma. Together, we'll figure out what isn't working and help you find your balance again. I use a whole-person approach, which means we won't just talk about your thoughts. We'll also pay attention to how stress and emotions show up in your body and your day-to-day life. Whether you're navigating a major life change, stuck in cycles of anxiety and depression, or carrying the weight of past trauma, I'm here to help. I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, but choosing to show up for yourself is something to be proud of. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions, I'll bring compassion along with proven techniques to help you work through the habits and patterns that are holding you back. Let's work on this together.
In our first session, we'll start with simple introductions so I can get to know you. Then we'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy right now. This helps me build a plan that actually fits your life, which we'll use in the sessions that follow. As a client-centered therapist, I'll always meet you where you are, not where you think you should be.
I've spent my career working in social work, school counseling, and mental health counseling, supporting teens and adults across many different settings. That experience has taught me how to adjust to each person in front of me. In our sessions, this means I'll bring flexibility, patience, and a steady presence, so you always feel heard and never rushed.
I work well with clients who are ready to learn more about themselves and how to move through life's harder moments. This includes people going through major life transitions, coping with anxiety or depression, or working through trauma, grief, or relationship struggles. I also enjoy working with young adults, helping them navigate school, careers, and the everyday decisions that come with this stage of life.
