Welcome! My name is Nadinna Guerrero, I am warm, compassionate, fun, and a kid at heart. I love to connect with my clients while helping them feel comfortable and understood. Together, we build a professional relationship based on trust and connection. Over the years, I have gained deep knowledge and honed my skills in counseling techniques. I love helping my clients overcome mental roadblocks and transform themselves into empowered humans striving for the future they deserve. I have extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults in clinical, school, and community-based settings. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, trauma, and communication skills. Clients can feel nervousness and uneasiness with their first sessions, which is why I try to normalize what they are experiencing and explain what they will be expecting out of therapy with me. I feel it is very important that clients understand my style and how warm and safe the environment will be for them. That is when they can get a feel for how I am as a therapist and how they can feel understood and listened to moving forward.
My greatest strengths come from helping clients understand what works and doesn't work for them because ultimately they need to have the awareness and see what they need to work on.
I have great success with are clients who have ADHD because I understand how to help them manage themselves and learn to find balance. I work well with women who deal with parenting and marital struggles because I can help them advocate for themselves and learn to be better parents. I also do well with males that struggle with anxiety and depression because I create a space for them to be themselves and understand themselves better.
