I hold the title of Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and am the proprietor of TEA Time Therapeutic Services LLC. My journey in the Behavioral Health field commenced in 2016, encompassing dedicated work with diverse individuals and families facing various life challenges. I successfully completed two years of supervision, accumulating over 1,500 hours of clinical experience to attain the LCSW designation. Graduating from the Advanced Standing program at Florida International University in 2018 with a Master of Social Work, I have since applied my expertise in providing evidence-based treatment to a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly population.

I graduated Eastern Michigan University with a major in psychology and a minor in nutrition in 2007. I completed my PhD program at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2014. During that time period I worked with patients in outpatient and inpatient settings including the University psychology clinic, Wayne State Family Medicine Center, Providence Alaska Family Medicine Center, and Providence Alaska inpatient services. My training allowed for me to develop techniques to help people who have medical complications as well as those with mental health issues. Since the end of my PhD program I have worked in outpatient counseling centers where I have seen individuals with a wide variety of issues including depression, PTSD, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, pain, grief, difficulty adapting to medical issues, diabetes behavioral management, weight loss, etc. I have worked with individuals of all ages, but I really enjoy working with ages 12 and above.

I am licensed in Florida with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am a licensed mental health counselor, based in Florida, with a Master's degree in professional counseling, emphasis on marriage and family, special populations, consulting and school counseling from Webster University, Bachelor's degree in criminology and human services from Saint Leo University and an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from the College of Central Florida. I am a Florida Supreme Court certified dependency mediator and credentialed instructor for the Department of Children and Families. I teach a bi-annual class on how to recognize trauma in children. I have 12 years experience as a counselor, and enjoy working with persons who have experienced ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and other traumas.
