In our first session, my main goal is to make you feel comfortable and heard. We’ll spend some time getting to know each other, talking about what brought you here, and discussing what you’d like to focus on. I’ll explain how sessions usually work, answer any questions you have, and together we’ll begin creating a plan that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—it’s a process, and we’ll go at your pace.
My approach is unique because I see each client as a whole person—not just a diagnosis or a problem to “fix.” I draw from different therapeutic methods depending on what fits you best, whether that’s cognitive-behavioral strategies, solution-focused tools, or reflective work that helps you make sense of your experiences.
I am best positioned to serve adults and young adults who may be dealing with stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges, and who are motivated to create positive changes in their lives. My clients are often looking for a space where they feel understood while also gaining practical tools they can apply in real situations. Whether your goal is to manage overwhelming emotions, strengthen relationships, or simply feel more confident in yourself, I provide a supportive and collaborative environment to help you get there.
When using the CBT approach, clients learn how to challenge thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are damaging the quality of their lives.
