New to Grow
Hi, I'm Jenness Jones, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founder of Grace and Mercy Counseling, LLC. I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. My practice provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can work through concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and stress while developing the tools needed for healing, growth, and lasting change. At Grace and Mercy Counseling, I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help clients build resilience, increase self-awareness, improve emotional well-being, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change. I believe everyone has strengths they can build upon, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their personal goals and live more fulfilling lives.
I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults who are seeking support, healing, and personal growth. Many of my clients are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, low self-esteem, and difficulties adjusting to major life changes. I work well with individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and make positive changes in their lives. Whether clients are facing a current challenge or working through long-standing concerns, I provide a supportive and compassionate space where they can feel heard and understood.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify negative or unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress and work to replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients focus on their strengths, successes, and possibilities rather than becoming overwhelmed by problems. This approach encourages clients to identify what is working well in their lives and build upon those strengths to create meaningful change.
