I’m Michelle (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Central Florida.    Central Florida has been my home for over 15 years. I attended University of Central Florida where I completed both a Bachelors and Masters of Social Work.  During my Masters, I also specialized in Military Social Work and received training in Play Therapy.  Since then, I have gone on to work with families and youth, strengthening relationships, overcoming trauma (particularly sexual trauma), and building their self- worth. She studies under renowned teachers nationally and internationally, driven by her observation of the pervasive need for spiritual connection among her clients and society. Understanding the interplay between the mind, body, and spirit, Ms. Barnett integrates spiritual principles into her services, offering holistic guidance and support to navigate life's challenges.

I have served a variety of populations since my MSW in my roles as an inpatient/ER case manager in acute care and psychiatric hospitals.
