Hi, I’m Julia, a therapist passionate about helping adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and build healthier coping strategies. My approach is collaborative and personalized, integrating evidence-based techniques while meeting each client with authenticity, compassion, and curiosity.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I’ll also ask questions to better understand your emotional experiences, relationships, strengths, and any challenges you may be facing. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and determine whether we feel like a good fit working together. There is no pressure to share everything right away we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to balance therapeutic techniques with genuine warmth, adaptability, and a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where clients feel deeply understood, emotionally safe, and empowered to explore difficult experiences without judgment. I integrate approaches such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and parts work depending on each client’s unique needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I also place a strong emphasis on emotional insight, self-awareness, and helping clients build practical coping strategies they can apply outside of sessions. Clients often appreciate that I am both compassionate and collaborative while also helping them make meaningful progress toward their goals. My focus is not only on symptom reduction, but also on helping clients develop a stronger sense of identity, emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence in themselves.”

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

“I am best positioned to serve adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociation, emotional dysregulation, identity development, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I work especially well with clients who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, highly self-critical, or stuck in patterns they no longer understand or want to continue. Many of the clients I work with are seeking greater emotional insight, healthier coping strategies, improved self-esteem, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of stability and authenticity in their lives. I also enjoy supporting clients who are motivated for personal growth but may feel unsure where to begin or struggle to put their internal experiences into words. My approach is warm, collaborative, and adaptable, with an emphasis on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered. I integrate evidence-based approaches while tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs, goals, and pace.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) as a collaborative, strengths-based approach that helps clients identify existing resources, exceptions to problems, and achievable goals rather than remaining solely focused on pathology or past experiences. In my practice, I often integrate SFBT techniques such as scaling questions, miracle questions, and identifying previous successes to help clients build insight, increase motivation, and recognize their own capacity for change. I find this approach especially effective with adolescents and young adults because it creates a sense of hope and forward movement while still validating their emotional experiences. I use SFBT alongside other modalities, tailoring interventions to each client’s needs, and appreciate how it empowers clients to recognize small, meaningful progress that can lead to lasting change

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) regularly in my practice to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My experience with CBT includes supporting clients in identifying cognitive distortions, increasing emotional awareness, developing healthier coping skills, and restructuring unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and behavioral challenges.
