I'm Cynthia C. Wingate, MA, LMHC. I have a combination of private practice experience and cultural awareness that allows me to relate to each client with knowledge and compassion. I appreciate your interest in working with me. I graduated Summa cum laude from University of North Florida with a master's in counseling psychology. My name is Ledia Urbano, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida. For over 25 years I have the privileged to provide effective therapeutic interventions to adults impacted by mental illness and/or substance use disorders. I use a combination of therapy approaches that include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy; which focus on identifying and changing negative thought patterns to improve behaviors and emotional regulation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; which provides a pathway for accepting difficult emotions rather than fighting them, while committing to actions aligned with personal values, Humanistic/Person-Center Therapy; which focus on our inherent capacity for growth, providing a supportive, non-judgmental environment for self-exploration, Solution-Focused Therapy, often called Solution-Focused Brief Therapy; a goal-oriented, strengths-based therapeutic approach which instead of dwelling on the history of a problem or digging into deep pathology, it focuses on building concrete solutions, identifying personal resources, and envisioning a desired future, and Integrative Therapy; a flexible, holistic approach that combines techniques from various schools to fit the unique needs of each individual.

The Central West Behavioral Health office in Tampa is located at 13902 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, Florida 33618, and we offer both in-person and Telehealth appointments. Dr. Abraham earned a Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida and holds licensure to provide mental health (LCSW) and substance abuse/addiction (CAP) therapy in Florida. He has extensive training and experience in various counseling techniques, including treatment methods endorsed by the American Psychiatric Association and the World Health Organization, such as EMDR (for PTSD and other trauma-related disorders), Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, CBT, DBT, Psychoanalytic Approaches, and other traditional treatments for mood disorders and different addictive behaviors. In his counseling practice, he encourages change, helping clients lead more fulfilling lives by addressing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My work encompasses individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, manage or improve addictive behavior, emotional dysregulation and life transitions (including women's issues). My work is informed by formal training in EMDR as well as, traditional talk therapy with a strong foundation in CBT and DBT—but therapy with me isn’t about rigid techniques or worksheets for the sake of it. I focus on helping clients understand why patterns exist, not just how to manage symptoms. EMDR allows us to work at the root level and utilize the integration of traditional talk therapy with CBT and DBT. Cognitive and Dialectical behavioral therapies provide practical tools for navigating daily life such as, mindfulness practices and working to defeat cognitive distortions that impact our relationships. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, adapting the work to the person in front of me rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model. Clients often describe my style as direct, solution focused, collaborative, and grounded. The bond that is created between us is the most important, and I believe meaningful change happens when therapy feels both safe, person centered and honest—where insight leads to action, and healing is something we actively build together.

I approach mental wellness as a spectrum of being that will regularly ebb and flow for all people. We all have "good" days and "not so good" days; we all need someone to talk to and to listen to us when days are harder, and we all need a compassionate voice to tell us that we can work through this. Menatl health work is manageable when it is education and information based, which helps us to make our problems seem more manageable. I like to help my clients feel comfortable about talking through their thoughts and obstacles, and finding real, simple solutions to problems. I have worked with people of all ages; my youngest client was 3 years old, and my oldest client was 84; I am proud to say that I can adjust to meet clients' needs. This is due to my ability to listen and to collaborate actively with clients to help them have a say in their care and healing.

I’m a counselor who believes that healing begins with connection—with yourself, your pain, and the meaning you give to your life. My approach is rooted in existential therapy, which means I help people explore the deeper “why” behind their struggles, choices, and patterns. Together, we look at questions of purpose, freedom, and authenticity—not as abstract ideas, but as living experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others. At Rogue Counseling, I work with people who feel stuck between who they are and who they want to be. Maybe you’re tired of running from discomfort, or maybe you’re just ready to live with more intention. I don’t see therapy as fixing what’s broken—I see it as helping you reconnect with your own agency and meaning, even in the face of uncertainty. My style is direct but compassionate. I draw from philosophy, psychology, and the realities of being human in a messy, complex world. I believe humor, curiosity, and courage belong in the therapy room just as much as pain and vulnerability. If you’re ready to explore your own story and live more freely within it, I’ll walk that path with you—one honest conversation at a

If you’re here, chances are life feels heavy right now, and maybe you’re tired of pretending you’re okay when you’re not. I get it. Being a teen or young adult can feel like too much sometimes; emotions are big, people don’t always understand, and everything seems to be changing all at once. Hi, I’m Shimyne Homidas, LCSW, and I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support is a powerful first step, and you don’t have to do this alone. I am the heart behind In Your Space, a place for real conversations, real emotions, and real growth.
