New to Grow
I am a dedicated therapist who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical, offering a space where you can feel understood while also gaining tools you can use in everyday life. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and grief counseling, and is always tailored to your unique needs and goals. I work with clients who are seeking clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful change. Together, we focus on building resilience, developing healthier thought patterns, and reconnecting with the values that matter most to you. My goal is to help you feel empowered and supported as you move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I will ask about your current challenges, your goals, and any background information that helps me better understand your experience. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and share what you hope to gain from therapy. We will work together to outline a plan that feels comfortable, collaborative, and aligned with your needs. My priority is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and understood from the very beginning.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to combine evidence-based approaches with genuine empathy and compassion. I bring experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, and major life changes, and I tailor each session to support your personal growth. Clients often share that they feel empowered and encouraged in our work together. I strive to provide practical tools while also creating a space where you can reflect, heal, and move forward with confidence.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to support individuals who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, grief, or self-doubt and are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. My ideal clients value a collaborative and supportive relationship and are open to learning new coping strategies and challenging unhelpful thoughts. If you are motivated to reconnect with your values and create a life that feels fulfilling—even during difficult seasons—I would be honored to support you.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and challenge negative thought patterns that affect their emotions and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to reframe these thoughts into more balanced perspectives. I often incorporate practical exercises like journaling or thought records and teach coping strategies to manage issues such as anxiety or depression. My goal is to empower clients to develop healthier thinking habits and responses that improve your overall well being.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
One approach I often use is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on helping clients build psychological flexibility. Instead of trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or emotions. I guide clients toward accepting them while committing to actions that align with your values. Through mindfulness practices and values-based exercises. I support clients in creating a life that feels meaningful, even when challenges arise. My goal is to help them take purposeful steps toward what truly matters.
Grief Therapy
When working with clients who are grieving, I focus on creating a safe and compassionate space where they can process their loss. In grief therapy, I help individuals explore their emotions without judgement and find ways to honor thier loved one while adjusting to life after loss. I often use techiniques that encourage expression, meaning-making, and coping strategies to navigate the waves of grief. My goal is to support clients in moving forward while maintaining a sense of connection and reslience.
