About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I specialize in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting to support healing from trauma, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop effective coping skills, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you’re seeking support through a difficult transition or striving for personal growth, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, supportive space for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and goals so we can start building a clear picture of where you are and where you’d like to be. Together, we’ll collaborate on a plan tailored to your needs and discuss the approaches that might work best for you, ensuring you feel heard, understood, and empowered from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly seen and supported, while also offering practical tools for lasting change. I combine evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and Brainspotting to address challenges on both a cognitive and emotional level, helping clients gain insight, build skills, and process deeper issues. My ability to balance compassion with goal-oriented strategies allows clients to feel safe exploring difficult emotions while actively moving toward healing and growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to make meaningful changes and are open to exploring themselves on a deeper level. I work best with those navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, or major life transitions, as well as those seeking to improve their relationships and build healthier coping strategies. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply striving for personal growth, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space to help you heal, gain insight, and move forward with confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to teach practical coping skills, challenge negative thinking, and support clients in developing healthier perspectives. This structured, goal-oriented approach empowers clients to make lasting changes and improve their overall well-being.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. In my practice, I integrate DBT techniques to support clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and responding to stress in healthier ways. This approach is especially effective for individuals struggling with emotion dysregulation or impulsive behaviors.

Brainspotting

I use Brainspotting as a powerful, brain-body-based therapy to help clients process and release trauma, emotional pain, and deeply held experiences. By identifying eye positions that connect to stored emotions, Brainspotting allows clients to access and heal issues that are often beyond the reach of talk therapy. I integrate it into my practice to support deeper emotional processing, enhance self-awareness, and promote lasting healing.
