As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I have the unique opportunity to help people work through various points in their lives. I believe people can experience difficulties with coping whenever faced with a transition in life. I work with my clients who include children, adults, couples, and families to find healthy coping methods in order to gain a healthier perception of themselves which can help to strengthen their relationships with themselves and others so they can find themselves as comfortable, secure, and whole.
I take time to get to know each of my clients on an individual basis so that I can tailor approaches to care because I have learned that not one approach impacts and helps all clients. I have been trained and adopted many approaches to provide therapeutic support including cognitive-behavioral, attachment theory, developmental theory, trauma theory, and dialectical behavioral theory.

I am passionate about assisting individuals with improving their quality of life and daily functioning during the most delicate and vulnerable times in their lives.
I work with adults, couples and families by helping them to develop coping strategies, improve mental health/interpersonal skills, and techniques to decrease life stressors and mental health symptoms that negatively impact personal functioning and quality of life. I am a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist and focuses on the effective treatment for those that have endured sexual, physical, emotional, childhood and domestic abuse. I consider myself to be an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means I use a variety of orientations and therapies to be able to meet the client’s individual needs.
As a therapist, my approach is grounded, conversational, and free of judgment. Clients often tell me it feels like talking to someone who “gets it,” while still being guided in a way that creates real change. You don’t have to have the perfect words, the perfect mood, or the perfect version of yourself when you show up. Simply come as you are.
I am a licensed clinical therapist for over 25 years with a focus on helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, and problem-solving. My approach is grounded in creating a supportive and respectful space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I believe that meaningful change begins with being seen, not just for your struggles, but for your strengths.
Using a combination of strength-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing, I work collaboratively with clients to identify patterns, clarify goals, and develop effective strategies for growth and resilience. I aim to support you in moving forward with clarity and confidence.
I help professionals in recovery who are carrying more than anyone realizes. Many of my clients are high-achieving people who have spent years holding everything together on the outside while privately struggling with alcohol, substances, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, or burnout. They’re people who have been depended on—at home, at work, and in their families—and they’re tired of performing, hiding, or white-knuckling their way through life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in addiction recovery, trauma, and life transitions, I bring a grounded, practical, and compassionate approach. My work is deeply influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), values-based living, and helping clients build a life that feels aligned rather than pressured or chaotic.
I understand that asking for help—especially as a professional—comes with unique challenges: reputation concerns, workplace stress, perfectionism, shame, fear of consequences, and relationships strained by years of coping alone. My role is not to judge or lecture, but to offer a private, steady space where you can talk openly, regain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more peaceful life.
Whether you’re navigating early sobriety, long-term recovery, career demands, relationship stress, or a sense that you’ve lost yourself, I’m here to walk with you—not as an authority figure, but as someone who respects the courage it takes to show up.
If you’re ready for therapy that’s confidential, respectful, and tailored to the realities of being a professional in recovery, I’d be honored to support you.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, I earned my Masters in Social Work from Boston College after receiving my Bachelors of Arts degree in history. I am licensed in all 6 New England states (RI was just added), in addition to Illinois. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege to work with a vast array of individuals from all walks of life including children and adolescents, adults, seniors, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a telehealth provider, I only treat adults over the age of 22.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctorate in Social Work and more than 15 years of experience, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, openly exploring concerns, and working toward meaningful growth and healing at their own pace.
My clinical focus includes supporting individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and a variety of life challenges. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating stress, major life transitions, relationship concerns, or feelings of being overwhelmed, and are seeking greater balance, clarity, and fulfillment in their lives. In addition to traditional therapy, I incorporate elements of life coaching to help clients identify goals, build confidence, and develop practical strategies that promote resilience and growth.
I also have extensive experience working with individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, with a strong emphasis on providing gender-affirming care for transgender and nonbinary teens and youth. Creating an inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive space is central to my work, and I am committed to supporting clients as they explore identity, navigate personal and systemic challenges, and build self-acceptance.
I work with individuals across the lifespan and tailor my approach using a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to ensure treatment is individualized and effective. My goal is to partner with each client to identify strengths, address barriers, and support ongoing emotional well-being and personal empowerment.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) with more than 22 years of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, and mental health services. My clinical work focuses on helping adults navigate trauma, substance use and recovery, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, grief, life transitions, and challenges related to emotional regulation and overall well-being.
My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and mind-body approaches. I'm particularly interested in the connection between mental and physical health, including stress physiology, lifestyle factors, nervous system regulation, metabolic health, and resilience.
In my practice through Grow Therapy, I strive to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each client to understand the experiences, patterns, strengths, and goals that are unique to them. Together, we develop practical strategies to promote meaningful change, greater self-awareness, improved coping, and sustainable emotional well-being.
I have extensive experience in serving adults, adolescents, children, and families by providing mental health counseling, domestic violence prevention, substance use prevention, addiction recovery, career counseling, family support, career coaching and education. “Between stimulus and response, there is a space; within that space lies your power and freedom…”
Here’s the thing; we’re all basically the same- but then again, not. Our reactions (to unexpected events, comments, public scrutiny) can vary, depending on our nature, personality, character and whether or not we’ve had breakfast. While the last part was just to get your attention, I’m committed to understanding what makes YOU “tick” and why you respond the way you do. That, in and of itself may be fascinating, but my true intention is to get you back on track, help you find your footing and become laser-focused & confident, regardless of your circumstances!
A bit about me: A native New Yorker, I acquired my MSW following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CCNY. Essentially, I view myself as a scientist and life coach, a motivator who recognizes that we’re ALL unique individuals, but do share many of the same thoughts & feelings. Most of us have struggled with anxiety, uncertainty and self-doubt; yet we’ve also experienced feeling confident, grounded and secure at one time or another. Then something happened and our self-esteem took a hit; there were setbacks.
Bear in mind, our backgrounds and early childhood experiences, our genetic predispositions all serve to shape our personalities and the essence of our being. To that end, as a clinician, I strive to guide individuals to examine their beliefs- in order to gain insight into their potentially self-destructive behavior- or whatever is getting in the way of their progress. Together, we’ll explore what’s influenced your self-concept and self-esteem. The saying that always resonated with me, “If you think you can, or you think you can’t- you’re right…” Life can feel overwhelming & insurmountable, but with the right tools, the sky’s the limit- whatever you’re facing!

In addition to therapy services, I also offer immigration-related psychological evaluations and clinically appropriate Emotional Support Animal (ESA) assessments and letters as separate private-pay services outside of insurance coverage.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, anxious, or trapped in repeating cycles — and leave with stronger self-awareness, healthier boundaries, and a renewed sense of direction.
