Hi! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California with over 22 years of joy and experience working with clients in their difficult times. I like to treat the person as a whole and not just symptoms and negative behaviors as it is easy to skip over the positives that makes the person wonderful and unique. My role in working with you is to reconnect you to your inner self and uncover what truly matters to you at your pace with your priorities always in mind.
Feeling overextended, exhausted, and constantly putting everyone else first?
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I help women break free from anxiety, overthinking, and guilt so they can rebuild their self-esteem and set healthy boundaries without feeling bad about it.
How I Can Help You:
• Break Unhealthy Cycles: Identify overthinking and stress patterns that drain your energy.
• Build Practical Boundaries: Learn to say "no" and prioritize yourself without guilt.
• Cultural Understanding: As a bilingual Latina therapist, I deeply understand the unique family dynamics, cultural expectations, and caregiving pressures women navigate.
Together, we’ll move beyond just surviving the day to building real, lasting emotional confidence and balance.
We are all the same! Part of the human experience is facing many challenges in our lifetime. By the same token, humans are wired to be resilient and can thrive in any circumstance. I believe that each of us possesses inner wisdom. Therefore, I can help you with life struggles by drawing from your strengths, internal resources, and a balance of evidence-based practices.
In our sessions, I will provide education and tools to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, manage anger, stress, deal with relationship issues, and life transitions. My therapy approach is interactive, collaborative, and will meet you where you are in your journey while balancing the push to challenge you. "Nothing changes if nothing changes."

Hello. My name is Marina Ramirez and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been a therapist for 8 years. Are you feeling stressed or overwhelmed with life's challenges and adversities? Maybe you just need guidance and help to alleviate your day? I would like to be that person to help you get through your day and help you start a journey of awareness, growth and strength.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 19 years experience working with children, adults, and families, the last 10 years in Teletherapy. I received my masters degree in psychology with a focus in marriage and family therapy in 2011, and I have completed certification training to be a functional family therapy supervisor. I'm a military veteran and have worked with individuals from a range of backgrounds, as well as provided supervision to interns. I also provide cognitive processing therapy for trauma, a gold standard evidence-based psychotherapy.
Hi there! My name is Courtney Carlson and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I have a background in working with a diverse range of clients (children, families, adults) in a variety of settings (school-based, outpatient, long term residential settings). Currently, I focus on providing individual therapy for transitional-aged youth (18-24) and adults. I believe therapy is something I do with clients, not to clients. I typically work with helping clients manage anxiety, depression, and stress symptoms by improving coping skills, processing life transitions, exploring childhood and current family dynamics, improving relationships and communication skills, and improving emotional regulation skills.
Life can feel overwhelming when past experiences continue to show up as anxiety, stress, or emotional exhaustion. You may notice patterns that don’t make sense, feel stuck in survival mode, or carry a heaviness you can’t quite name. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s beneath the surface, and begin responding to life with more clarity and self-compassion. You don’t have to navigate difficult seasons alone—healing is possible, and support can make the path forward feel more steady and manageable. I also work in afternoons and evenings to ensure everyone gets a chance to be seen.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, deepen their understanding of themselves, and create meaningful, lasting change. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and challenges with self-esteem and self-worth.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I recognize that our identities, relationships, cultural backgrounds, and lived experiences shape how we navigate the world. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals from immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities, providing an inclusive, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
I work with clients to explore patterns of self-criticism, navigate social anxiety, process feelings of guilt and shame, establish healthy boundaries, and develop a stronger sense of self. Whether you're struggling with workplace stress, navigating complicated relationships, healing from past experiences, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can provide an opportunity to gain clarity, build confidence, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Drawing from evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I tailor our work to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I believe therapy is not about changing who you are, but about helping you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop the tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.
Hello! I am bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. I have 12 years of experience providing individual and family therapy to residents in the Los Angeles area. I earned my Bachelors degree in Sociology in Spanish from Loyola Marymount University in 2007 and Master of Social Welfare from University of California Los Angeles in 2012. I have extensive experience providing community mental health with a strong emphasis on depression and anxiety disorders, including trauma and perinatal/postpartum conditions.
You deserve to feel better. If you've been feeling stressed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change, you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.
Hi, I'm Michelle, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Mindset Coach with over thirty years of experience. I help people feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their emotions. My goal is to create a space where therapy feels like a real, supportive conversation—one where you can better understand yourself and begin to move forward with clarity.
Many of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we take a closer look at what's happening beneath the surface—not just within you, but within the context of your life, your relationships, and the situations you're navigating every day. We explore how your thoughts, emotions, and stress responses are connected, and we build tools to help you respond in healthier, more empowering ways.
I believe there are two important relationships worth understanding: the relationships you have with other people, and the relationship you have with yourself. A question we'll often explore is, "What happens to you when...?" Whether it's conflict, criticism, disappointment, or uncertainty, understanding how you respond under different circumstances helps you recognize patterns and make choices that better reflect the person you want to be.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. Together, we'll focus on the parts of your life that are within your influence… strengthening communication, setting healthy boundaries, and making changes that help your relationships feel healthier while allowing you to feel more like yourself.
Hello, I’m Cristina Osollo! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 12 years of experience. My primary focus is substance abuse, depression, trauma, anxiety, and relationship discord. I take an integrative approach to therapy, using evidence-based frameworks to provide concrete tools and strategies for symptom reduction and deeper exploration. I believe we all have what it takes to create the life we are meant to live. I invite you to take the step of finding out what is possible for you. Through a process of discovery, awareness, and a commitment to self-understanding, there is a hope of embodying your truest self. Bringing a delicate balance of effort, care, and experience, it would be my privilege to accompany you on this intimate and very often, deeply satisfying journey.
This is my first career and something I have always been pulled to; my journey is a thorough reflection of why I work in this field. My path to becoming a licensed therapist was very intuitive-based; I went through experiences of pain, guilt, shame, loss of self, and the loss of my overall sense of life. Through my journey, I was able to understand pain and trauma, taking on a lot of spiritual remedies while turning my pain into passion, my passion into purpose, and my purpose into power as a healer. Due to my licensure journey, I not only understand the educational part of pain, trauma, and healing, but I also experienced painful and challenging moments myself, bringing me to a higher purpose for self and meaning of life! I am highly intuitive, empathic, gentle, and calm, and I am a good listener and healer. I have worked in addiction, with children who have autism and intellectual disabilities, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life coaching, spirituality, and connecting to the higher self.
My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, and friendly. My hope is to help my clients understand they are not alone and there is always hope to move forward. If you have a desire to make a positive change in your life, therapy may be the right path for you. .

Are you struggling with your work-life balance, family unit, parent-child relationship, or other relationships? Are these conflicts bringing you overwhelming emotions and distress? Are you in need of more healthy coping skills?
As a professional therapist (LMFT) of over 14 years, I strive to empower client success while being a guiding presence in a supportive and safe space. Hello, my name is Steven Nelson, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over nine years of clinical experience. While my professional background includes family and relationship therapy, my current focus is working with individuals, helping each person navigate their unique journey toward healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds and professions, including first responders, law enforcement personnel, active-duty military members and their families, nurses, attorneys, and many others facing a wide range of life challenges.
Life's difficulties are a natural part of the human experience. At times, individuals may feel isolated in their struggles or believe that no one truly understands what they are going through. These thoughts can contribute to anxiety, depression, substance use, and other challenges that impact relationships, work, and overall quality of life. When left unaddressed, these difficulties can become overwhelming and interfere with one's ability to move forward.
I believe that meaningful change is possible through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based therapeutic approach. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can gain insight, build effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, and develop healthier ways of managing life's challenges. Together, we can work toward healing, personal wellness, and lasting positive change.
In addition to my Psychological Therapy license, I hold specialties certifications in Drug and Alcohol addiction, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Sex Addiction, Trauma and Domestic Violence prevention.
Kelli is a trauma informed yoga teacher, writer, Land protector, Kundalini and Vishoka meditation practitioner, and mother of 4. Trained by Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur in the Compassionate Inquiry process, Kelli's intention as a psychotherapist is to bring awareness to all facets of ourselves. When we witness these parts with compassion, we become whole, liberated, and restored to our True Nature. As we become more present and connected with ourselves, there is safety and space for authentic expression through our body, psyche, life, and community. Kelli specializes in Complex Trauma; "a psychic wound that hardens you psychologically and then interferes with your ability to grow and develop. It pains you and now you're acting out of pain. It induces fear and now you're acting out of fear. Trauma is not what happens to you, it's what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you." This is often revealed through symptoms of depression, anxiety, and addiction. Our emotions are not tangential to our health. They are a signaling intelligence that can alert us to all sorts of phenomenon in our experience.
Greetings. I’m David Joel Miller, licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Professional Clinical Counselor. Before entering private practice, I worked as a substance abuse counselor and for my local County Behavioral Health. I specialize in helping clients navigate life’s transitions and overcome depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
After working as a substance abuse counselor and then a marriage and family therapist, I also completed the requirements for licensure as a professional clinical Counselor. I am also a certified life coach. I think of myself as an indoor mountain climber. I don’t like getting out in the cold and rain, but I do like taking on new challenges. I read a great deal and have learned a lot, but I continue to learn more things each day. Like most people my age, I have the frustrations of coping with technology. But one of my interns taught me how to answer texts, and now my younger family friends are teaching me how to use iPads and streaming videos. I hope that these experiences give me some insight into how things are changing and how some things don’t change at all. I’d like to accompany you as you try to work through your life challenges.
As a therapist, I am committed to helping you have healthier, more balanced, harmonious lives and relationships. My therapy approach includes traditional and holistic healing techniques that involve mind, body, heart and spirit as well as things unseen.
My years of experience in community mental health include individual, child, couples, co-parenting and family therapy. I am able to relate well to many different cultural, ethnic, socio-economic groups. With an M.A. in transpersonal psychology and an M.B.A. from University of Chicago plus 25 years of corporate experience, I use a broad range of skills to help my clients explore their needs and goals. As a certified yoga and meditation teacher, many of my clients have learned mindfulness techniques that enhance their recovery.
All of us need confidential support for different things at times. My job is to compassionately support you in what you need, with your values, to have the life that you want.
I am not only a therapist but a real person. Everyone struggles with mood and thoughts and sometimes we all need help navigating the intensity of these experiences. I hope to be a guide for you as you walk through whatever challenges are keeping you from moving forward. This process will be challenging and will take work, however if you take away one thing from reading this, it is that you are not alone and there are people out there waiting to offer help.

I bring a warm, relaxed, and non-judgmental energy to every session, and my goal is to create a space where you can be your full self—laugh, cry, vent, reflect, explore… whatever you need, it's all welcome.

Hi! My name is Crystal Villanueva and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have 14 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and children experiencing the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, and intimate partner violence.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the spirit of Humanistic therapy. Humanistic Therapy is based on the core belief that people are good at heart and capable of making the right choices for themselves. In therapy, this belief leads me to focus on each individual’s unique point of view and how this view can impact their choices. It further emphasizes the importance of being our authentic selves to live the most fulfilling life. I strive to create a safe environment to help clients feel comfortable to express their thoughts/emotions. I am genuine, friendly, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and interactive. I believe I am easy to talk to as I am casual in my style, but direct and focused when it comes to our work together.
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own therapy that I received as a youth and young adult; it was life-changing. I worked with a therapist that was completely accepting and non-judgmental of my faults/shortcomings and helped me work past and accept them. Because of this experience, I wanted to give back and provide the same nonjudgment safe space, and acceptance to others.

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I have been a medical social worker for about 30 years and have worked in every capacity in the medical field. This experience gives me a broad knowledge of chronic illnesses, anxiety, life altering illnesses, depression and unexpected life changes. I am also a mother of grown children and get how hard parenting can be, especially as a single parent.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience providing psychotherapy and clinical social work across medical, academic, and private practice settings. My clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, and a commitment to evidence-based, integrative treatment that supports each client’s individual goals and strengths.
My experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and families in settings such as UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and Kaiser Permanente. These diverse environments have informed a comprehensive approach that values collaboration, holistic assessment, and continuity of care.
Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
For Clients that are insured by Kaiser: I will be confirming your appointment 48 hours before the appointment by email, please email me back with a confirmation. If you do not respond to my email I will cancel the appointment. Also, if you cancel a set appt less than 24 hours I will need to refer you to another therapist. I am sorry to have to do this, however I have had an excessive amount of no shows. Thank you for understanding.
You don’t have to have it all figured out, let’s figure it out together. I’m a Latina therapist who supports adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and major life changes. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, creating a space where you can feel safe to open up and be yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, build tools to manage life’s ups and downs, and help you move toward feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to who you are.
I’ve been licensed since March 2019, however I’ve been working in this field since 2013 (starting out in various schools: elementary, middle and high schools). I work with kids, teens, adults, couples and families.
I enjoy helping people with symptoms of anxiety, depression and who are going through a life transition. I try to teach tools and empower clients to make the changes they need in their lives to have a quality and meaningful relationship with themselves and others.
Therapy is a process and a journey and committing to this is the biggest and most rewarding step any human can take. I will be there to support the client through the stages of change (the ups and downs) and witness their transformation. Thank you for trusting me to be part of this process.

I completed a fellowship in Infant Parent Mental Health and studied under the late Dr. T. With over 40 years of experience, I specialize in working with children and teens experiencing anxiety and low self esteem, helping them develop emotional regulation, resilience, and self-understanding through a compassionate, developmentally attuned approach.
I also work with adults, drawing upon deep knowledge of childhood trauma—including family of origin betrayal such as abuse, emotional neglect, and complex trauma resulting from violations of trust—to support healing from long-standing relational and emotional wounds.
My trauma-informed practice integrates insights from neuroscience, developmental psychology, and intergenerational family systems, offering clients of all ages a pathway toward growth, stability, and self-compassion.
I moved on to complete a specialist degree in school psychology and master's degree in education from Chapman University. Hi, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I support women who feel stuck in unfulfilling relationships, carry the weight of wounds like feeling unseen or not enough, and are exhausted from trying to hold it all together.
My purpose is to help you heal your past, build self-trust, and feel empowered to create the life and relationships you desire.
With a warm, compassionate approach, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back and work to break free from old patterns. Together, we’ll strengthen your emotional tools and deepen your sense of worth, guiding you toward a more connected, confident, and fulfilling life.
My name is Kristin Koehler and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have garnered much of my clinical experience working with adolescents, parents, and families in various residential and outpatient treatment programs using a mixture of different therapeutic approaches in order to help clients make progress and start to feel better. I have always been drawn to helping others and enjoy seeing people thrive when they are able to be the best version of themselves.
