LMFT, 6 years of experience
Hello, I’m a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. Taking the first step toward therapy is courageous, and I’m here to support you through life’s challenges—whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need a safe space to talk. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and understood in a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment. Together, we’ll explore what works best for you—whether that means building coping skills, improving relationships, managing depression or anxiety, or navigating life transitions to find greater balance and fulfillment in your everyday life.
In our first session, we’ll start with a brief introduction and begin exploring what’s bringing you to therapy. This conversation will help me understand your unique needs so we can create a plan that feels right for you moving forward. I always work at your pace, and my priority is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about whatever’s on your mind.
With over six years of experience supporting clients, I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard. I use active and reflective listening to foster trust, encourage self-exploration, and build a strong therapeutic relationship.
I am dedicated to supporting women and, as a woman myself, I bring a deep understanding of the unique experiences and challenges women often face. My approach is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly heard and supported. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, or navigating life transitions, I am here to help you build resilience, develop healthy boundaries, and regain a sense of balance and purpose. Therapy is a collaborative process that can lead to meaningful healing and growth. I look forward to walking alongside you as you work toward the life you deserve.
I have more than 6 years of experience providing therapy utilizing this modality, which is a therapeutic approach that emphasizes on the individual strengths and resources to achieve positive change in a relatively short period of time.
I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past six years. It’s helped dozens of individuals challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
I have over 6 years of experience using narrative modality as a respectful, non-blaming approach that centers on the individual as the expert in their own life. It's a therapeutic approach that emphasizes the stories individuals tell about their lives and how these stories shape their identities and experiences.
I have over 6 years of experience using eclectic as a therapeutic approach, where I utilize a variety of techniques and theories from different schools of psychotherapy to create a personalized treatment plan for each individual, to customize treatment plans, and guarantee a unique experience.
I have over 6 years of experience using a Person-Centered modality is a non-directive form of talk therapy that emphasizes the client's inherent capacity for growth and self-healing. I act as a facilitator, offering unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence, rather than offering direct advice or interpretations.

Janeth has been wonderful to work with. She is so easy to talk to and creates a comfortable environment where I feel heard and understood. Our conversations flow naturally, and I appreciate how engaged and attentive she is throughout each session. It never feels rushed or one-sided—there’s always a genuine effort to understand me and provide thoughtful guidance. I leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, and more confident in my personal growth.

She is very attentive and goes the extra mile to help me understand my feelings and also she gives me a lot of compliments on how I'm doing well. I really like that she seemed to be happy for me and really wants to help me become more independent and Trust myself more and be content with who I am and content with my life as is without another person being there. Sorry I'm using voice command so the punctuation and typos may be abundant.

Janet was amazing! As a clinical counselor-in-training myself, she gave me some great insights and did an excellent job of making me feel seen and heard. Can't wait for our next session :)
