Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re carrying challenges on your own. You may want support but hesitate out of fear of being misunderstood or judged. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold everything together by yourself. I believe that every person’s story deserves to be heard with care and respect. My work as a therapist is grounded in the understanding that people already possess strengths and insight, even when they don’t feel that way. It’s a privilege to walk alongside clients as they gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. Above all, I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and equipped with tools and insights that move you forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on connection and understanding. We’ll take time to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and identify what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll listen carefully to your experiences and concerns and we’ll begin to outline a direction that feels right for you. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and decide whether this therapeutic space feels like a good fit. From there, we’ll collaborate on a treatment plan that reflects your goals.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

The treatment approach will be tailored to what is most comfortable and effective for each individual. I offer both short- and long-term treatment, currently focusing on psychodynamic therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). My specialties include trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety. I also integrate elements of solution-focused and person-centered therapy to best support each client's needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am deeply committed to creating a supportive and validating environment where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions and experiences. I believe in your capacity for growth and find meaning in helping others move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. I use an integrative approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Together, we explore how past experiences and patterns may be influencing your present while also focusing on practical strategies to help you feel more grounded, confident, and empowered in daily life. Therapy is collaborative, flexible, and always tailored to your individual needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults (18 and older) who are seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and everyday challenges. At this time, I am not accepting couples.

I like that I really feel heard and this time helps me as a check and balance of my overall feelings! I feel like I used to deal with a lot of depression, and now I’m finding healthy ways to not get so deep on down on myself.

I feel truly seen and understood by Cristina. I've learned a lot about myself throughout my therapy journey with her. I know everyone connects differently with therapists, but she's genuinely great and definitely worth a try.
