Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re carrying challenges on your own. You may want support but hesitate out of fear of being misunderstood or judged. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold everything together by yourself. I believe that every person’s story deserves to be heard with care and respect. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where your story is heard and your strengths are honored.
Our first session is focused on connection and understanding. We’ll take time to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and identify what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll listen carefully to your experiences and concerns and we’ll begin to outline a direction that feels right for you. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and decide whether this therapeutic space feels like a good fit. From there, we’ll collaborate on a treatment plan that reflects your goals.
I am deeply committed to creating a supportive and validating environment where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions and experiences. I believe in your capacity for growth and I find meaning in helping others move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. Together, we explore how past experiences and patterns impact your present while building strategies to help you move toward the life you want.
I work with adults (18 and older) who are seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and everyday challenges. At this time, I am not accepting couples.
Supportive
I engage clients in supportive therapy by providing a compassionate and structured environment where they feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach focuses on helping individuals cope with stress, manage emotional challenges, and develop practical skills to enhance daily functioning. I emphasize building resilience and adaptive coping strategies, while offering consistent guidance and encouragement throughout the therapeutic process. My experience includes supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other situational challenges, with interventions tailored to meet each person’s unique needs.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I work with clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help them understand how thoughts, feelings, and actions influence each other and to develop practical tools for positive change. My approach focuses on building skills to manage stress, overcome unhelpful thinking, and tackle everyday challenges with confidence
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore the thoughts, emotions, and past experiences that shape their present. By gaining insight into these patterns in a supportive space, clients develop self-understanding, healthier coping, and stronger relationships. Every approach is personalized to support growth and meaningful change.

I like that I really feel heard and this time helps me as a check and balance of my overall feelings! I feel like I used to deal with a lot of depression, and now I’m finding healthy ways to not get so deep on down on myself.

I feel truly seen and understood by Cristina. I've learned a lot about myself throughout my therapy journey with her. I know everyone connects differently with therapists, but she's genuinely great and definitely worth a try.
