Hey, I’m Brittany!
Do you struggle with anxiety, relationships, or life changes?
I work with individuals to help them improve symptoms of anxiety, improve relationship satisfaction, and navigating some of life's harder moments. Whether you are a college student transitioning to life post grad, feeling anxious in your relationship, or just needing support I am here to help!
Throughout our sessions we will learn and implement various coping skills and identify strengths you already have and build on those! Life can be very difficult, you don’t have to do it alone, supportive therapy can be just the thing we need to help us through the challenges of change.
Together we will work on achieving your therapy goals as there is no one size fits all approach to therapy. Each client is unique and has different needs and goals. I’ll meet you where you are with compassion and gentleness while utilizing evidence-based techniques to help you reach your goals!
HeIlo. My name is Tracey and I am pleased you are here. Just to share a little bit about myself. I am a wife and a mother. I have worked as a licensed clinical social worker for fifteen years. Guided by Christian values of grace, hope, and compassion, I seek to support clients in a way that honors both their emotional well-being and, when desired, their spiritual journey. I believe healing occurs through a combination of understanding, truth, and practical action, and I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Hi, I'm Daija Monroe, Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Monroe Behavioral Insight Consulting. I'm so glad you're here and I want you to know that finding the courage to seek support is something to be proud of.
I'm a Virginia-based therapist with over seven years of experience working with individuals across a wide range of life experiences and challenges. I have experience in community mental health, forensic mental health, crisis intervention, and school-based settings which means I bring a well-rounded, real-world understanding of how life, systems, and mental health intersect. My work is rooted in creating a space that feels genuinely safe where you don't have to perform, pretend, or have it all figured out before walking through the door.
I'll be honest with you, I'm not the therapist who will sit quietly and just nod. I'm warm, I'm real, and I'm straightforward. I believe you deserve a therapist who will actually engage with you, celebrate your wins, and gently challenge you when you need it. No sugarcoating, but always with compassion.
My approach blends evidence-based techniques with genuine human connection. I specialize in working with women, young adults, adolescents, first responders, healthcare workers, and immigrants navigating life's most difficult moments. Whether you're carrying invisible weight, feeling stuck, or simply ready to finally put yourself first, I want to help you get there.
Outside of my clinical work I am a mother, author, speaker, and advocate for mental health awareness. Life has taught me firsthand that healing is possible even when it feels impossibly far away. That lived experience shapes everything about how I show up for my clients.
You don't have to keep holding it all alone. I'm here.
I hold the title of Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and am the proprietor of TEA Time Therapeutic Services LLC. My journey in the Behavioral Health field commenced in 2016, encompassing dedicated work with diverse individuals and families facing various life challenges.
I successfully completed two years of supervision, accumulating over 1,500 hours of clinical experience to attain the LCSW designation. Graduating from the Advanced Standing program at Florida International University in 2018 with a Master of Social Work, I have since applied my expertise in providing evidence-based treatment to a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly population.
I live in the Hampton Roads section of Virginia with my son and our dogs. I enjoy spending time at the beach or in the water somewhere, hiking, reading, and traveling.
I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years and have worked in the field of mental health both, in-patient and out-patient, for over 25 years. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)and Rational Emotive (RET) therapies to guide patients toward a greater understanding of themselves with the goal of emotional equilibrium or “balance.” The large military presence in Hampton Roads has allowed me to work with active-duty personnel and their families.
I have successfully treated patients with depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and trauma histories.
Seeking support is a courageous first step, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing and growth. As a compassionate, empathetic, and solution-focused therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and understood.
With over 13 years of clinical experience, I work with adults facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach combines evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, to help clients gain insight into unhelpful patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths.
I believe that meaningful change occurs when clients feel empowered to understand themselves more deeply and take intentional steps toward the life they want to create. My goal is to help you move beyond surviving and toward thriving with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being
I’m a mindfulness-based, holistic therapist who believes in focusing on your strengths and positives while supporting your healing journey. In our work together, I’ll help you build awareness, find balance, and connect with your resilience. I'll work to empower you in everything that you do. My goal is to empower you to feel more grounded, hopeful, and confident as you grow into the best version of yourself.
I have been a mental health professional for more than twenty years, working with individuals who often find themselves at a crossroads and unsure where to begin in addressing what they are feeling. My experience spans a variety of settings, including community mental health, public schools, disability services, and outpatient care. These experiences have allowed me to work with people from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of challenges. I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
Congratulations on taking an important step toward strengthening your emotional well-being and prioritizing your mental health. Seeking support is a meaningful decision that reflects courage, self-awareness, and a commitment to personal growth. I am Dr. Vester Appiah, a doctoral-level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP). With more than a decade of clinical experience, I specialize in providing evidence-based, compassionate care to adolescents, young adults, and adults. My approach is tailored to support individuals seeking stability, growth, and long-term healing.
Welcome, My name is Ariam Peña, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and Virginia. I received my Master’s degree from Argosy University and have been practicing for over a decade. I help adults with the different challenges of life and pressures that often take the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and substance abuse. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods and to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life.
As a neurodivergent Black woman living with a chronic illness and mother of three adult children, two of whom identify with the LGBTQ+ commmunity, I am always interested in the deeper question people carry about their lives. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, capable people who have spent years showing up for others, meeting expectations, and doing what seemed like the responsible thing to do. At some point, though, many begin to notice a quiet sense that something no longer fits.
My work centers around helping people slow down enough to understand what is actually happening beneath that feeling. Together we look at the patterns, experiences, and internal narratives that shape how you see yourself and the choices available to you. From that place, people often begin to rediscover a clearer sense of who they are and what direction their lives might take moving forward.
I am especially drawn to working with adults navigating identity shifts, relationship transitions, and moments in life where the path forward is no longer obvious.
I'm Jay Varela, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in TEAM-CBT — a structured, evidence-based method developed by Dr. David Burns at Stanford. I hold Level 3 Advanced certification from the Feeling Good Institute and train regularly with the Beck Institute.
Most therapy is open-ended. Mine isn't. I track your symptoms with the Burns Brief Mood Survey before and after every session, so you always know whether therapy is working — and so do I. The data tells us when to keep going, when to change course, and when you're done.
Most clients see significant improvement in 4-6 sessions. OCD typically takes 8-12. I treat anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and relationship problems.

I support clients with a wide range of concerns, including:

I believe you are the expert of your own life, and I see my role as a supportive guide and resource along the way. My style is laid-back and down-to-earth—I listen first, speak second. I also incorporate psychoeducation, somatic techniques, and mindfulness-based interventions to support healing and growth in practical, accessible ways.
I am a bilingual psychotherapist, member of the Latine and LGBTQIA+ community who approaches wellness with a holistic view that honors the mind, body, and spirit.
I enjoy speaking about the science side of therapy, and how everything impacts our brains and bodies.
I also know that not everything always makes sense or has words that can explain what is going on.
I enjoy learning, being in nature, and giving animals pets.
I'm an experienced, compassionate social worker, who specializes in helping others to be their best selves, and to find hope. Each person is on their own journey, and I want to be able to help assist people who are struggling to reach their goals. Hellooo! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist living in Virginia. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2008.
I have lived in many different places but mostly I grew up in eastern North Carolina and Europe. Having parents from western New York and southern West Virginia, I was raised in a "northern" household in a "southern" environment. I like to think these contrasts in my life have helped me learn to adapt and identify with many different types of people. While I value the privilege of being an American, I love what other nationalities contribute to my world. Standing beside my clients and walking with them through their difficult times is one of my greatest joys.
I am a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community with multicultural and multiethnic roots. I enjoy working with adult men who are exploring their gender, sexuality, and relationships; members of the LGBTQ+ and BDSM/kink communities; and sexual trauma survivors and thrivers. I aim to help clients in accepting and loving the parts of themselves that they have disowned or hidden throughout their lifespan due to negative influences from their families of origin, peers, and society.
Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, or past trauma make it hard to cope or move forward. You don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you’re a teen, young adult, or someone feeling stuck, therapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and develop practical tools to manage stress and emotions. Together, we’ll work to understand your challenges and find lasting strategies that actually fit your life — not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Hello, and welcome. My name is Ashley. I am a licensed counselor in North Carolina and Virginia, and I specialize in helping adults improve their sleep through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). I have been working in the mental health field since 2006 and have supported children, teens, families, and adults since 2021. On the Grow platform, however, I am exclusively providing CBT-I treatment for adults that have insomnia.
I focus on providing a safe, private space where you can feel comfortable talking about your sleep challenges and learning practical skills to improve your rest. My approach is rooted in behavioral therapy, CBT-I, and mindfulness, which means we will work together to understand your sleep patterns and build habits that support better sleep over time. It is very important to me that every client is treated with kindness, compassion, and respect throughout our time together.
Outside of my work, I value practicing what I encourage others to do. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my dog, and engaging in activities like gardening and cooking. These moments help me stay grounded and connected, and I bring that same mindset into my work with clients.

Whether you are adjusting to motherhood, struggling with postpartum depression or anxiety, caring for aging parents, grieving an empty nest, or simply feeling stuck and exhausted, therapy can give you a place to breathe, process, and feel supported again.
