New to Grow
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can be your authentic self - without judgement . I bring over 10 years of experience in the mental health field and use a person-centered, strength-based approach to help clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you work toward meaningful change. I work best with clients who ae ready to explore, grow, and actively participate in their healing. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable space where WE can work together at your pace while building on the strengths you already have.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting, therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your backgrounds, current concerns, and what you hope to get out of counseling. We'll also begin identifying goals that we can work toward together. Most importantly, our first session is about building rapport and creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. There's no pressure to have all the answers-I'll meet you where you are, and we'll take it one step at a time.
I bring patience, authenticity, and the ability to connect with clients from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. My experience ranges from crisis intervention to working with individuals with Autism, which has taught me the importance of meeting each person where they are and adapting my approach to their individual needs. I'm comfortable having difficult conversations and gently challenging clients when needed, while maintaining a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I have a natural ability to help clients feel comfortable opening up, even when they may initially find it difficult to trust or express themselves. I believe in recognizing the strengths clients already posses while also helping them identify area for growth.
My ideal client is someone who is ready, willing, and open to the therapeutic process. They are motivated to grow , explore their thoughts and emotions, and make meaningful changes in their life. They are willing to be honest , collaborate on goals, learn new coping skills, and take steps toward becoming the best version of themselves at their pace.
