About me

Sometimes when life happens, we are left with feelings of frustration, confusion, sadness or anger. Then, we face the challenge of moving on, getting by, grieving, and coping. Identifying a problem and a need for help are difficult and necessary first steps towards getting "unstuck", healing and recovery. You have made the first step. I will work with you through the rest. You are the expert of your life's story. My goal is to help you reflect and process your life's experiences/challenges in effort to help you heal, learn new tools and skills, be empowered, and improve your overall well-being. Let's work together to identify and achieve your goals. Change is possible! Be the change!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I'll ask about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and exploring how we can work together to support your wellness journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

We work together to identify what you wish to accomplish. I assist in setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals and discussing realistic means for achieving them. I celebrate your wins, big and small, and help consider alternative options when challenges arise. I work with adults dealing with life transitions, social pressures, stress and anxiety, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem, anger, confidence, and depression. Together, we identify and work towards achieving your personal wellness goals. My communication style is calm, direct, motivational, encouraging, personable, and non-judgmental. Clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe when talking with me about any challenges they have faced or are facing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who are ready to create meaningful change in their lives, even if they're feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck. They may be navigating major life transitions, managing the pressures of work, relationships, or family, or struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, anger, confidence, or lack of motivation. Some are seeking support as individuals, while others come as couples or families looking to improve communication, resolve conflict, and strengthen their relationships. These clients want practical tools and compassionate guidance to help them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. They are looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward lasting emotional well-being. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and make steady progress toward their personal and overall wellness goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support adults as they navigate life's challenges, including major life transitions, social pressures, stress, anxiety, family conflict, low motivation, self-esteem, anger, confidence, and depression. I believe that meaningful change happens through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship. Together, we'll explore unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, and work toward goals that reflect what matters most to you. My aim is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and feel more confident in creating a life that feels balanced and fulfilling.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help adults build on their strengths and move toward meaningful change. Whether you're navigating life transitions, social pressures, stress, anxiety, family conflict, low motivation, self-esteem challenges, anger, confidence, or depression, we'll work together to identify what's already working and develop practical, achievable solutions. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I help clients recognize their existing strengths, set realistic goals, and take small, purposeful steps toward the life they want to create. My approach is collaborative, hopeful, and centered on empowering you to make lasting, positive changes.
