Hey, I’m Brittany! Do you struggle with anxiety, relationships, or life changes? Are you wanting to feel happier and more content in life? I work with individuals to help them manage anxiety, improve relationships, and have support through life changes. Throughout our sessions we will learn and implement various coping skills to help you manage symptoms of anxiety and improve relationships. We will identify strengths you already have as an individual and build on those! Life can be very difficult, you don’t have to do it alone, supportive therapy can be just the thing we need to help us through the challenges of change. Together we will work on achieving your therapy goals as there is no one size fits all approach to therapy. Each client is unique and has different needs and goals. I’ll meet you where you are with compassion and gentleness while utilizing evidence-based techniques to help you reach your goals!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will cover a variety of topics. We will talk about what brings you in for therapy, symptoms you've been experiencing, family relationships and dynamics, as well as establish goals. This information will ensure we are able to put together a treatment plan to help you reach your goals!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My biggest strengths as a clinician are assisting clients in identifying and challenging unhealthy thought patterns, managing emotions, and building communication skills. I have put together some helpful resources to assist clients in tackling those issues. In addition, I have completed Level II Gottman Method to expand my knowledge on communication and conflict resolution skills.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client population are young to middle aged adults who are struggling with anxiety, life transitions, depression, and/or relationship challenges.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has been effective in assisting client's in managing negative thought patterns, core beliefs, low self-esteem, and more! This approach allows us to be collaborative in treatment and work together to decrease the symptoms and negative thoughts you may be having.

Interpersonal

I have extensive experience working with individuals navigating difficult relationships. If you are wanting to work on communication skills, set boundaries, or conflict resolution this would be the one approach to better relationships!

Psychoeducation

I utilize psychoeducation in treatment to explain and help my clients understand the rational behind the treatment method and coping skills that we are learning in session. Knowing the why just helps us to understand how coping skills and different methods of counseling can help us reach out goals! I want my clients to be informed throughout their treatment process!
