--- I have experience working with community based mental health agencies, managed care, and private practice. My passion is working with children and families. I believe that the family is an important institution to society, that needs to be preserved. I am sensitive to the clients perspective and I never prescribe or make recommendations that are in direct violation of the client culture, values or beliefs.
My specialty areas include: trauma, child abuse, parenting issues , family therapy, coping with loss, play therapy, stress management and life transitions. I approach therapy from a client centered approach, focusing on validating the clients feelings displaying empathy, with a strong emphasis on the client being the expert.
I’m a business owner, a single mom, and a foster and adoptive parent. I understand what it’s like to juggle multiple roles, carry constant responsibility, and still want to show up well for the people who matter most. One thing I say often is “work on yourself first.” It’s one of the few things we actually have control over even when we feel as though we don't, and it’s also the thing we tend to put off. We’re busy, we’re juggling everything, and before we know it, we’re stuck in patterns that feel frustrating and hard to break. No judgment here. I get it.
I’ve been working with individuals and families as a therapist since 2018, with a background in healthcare prior to that, and I’ve spent my career serving the Fort Worth community I grew up in. I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, which means we’ll focus on what’s already working, build on your strengths, and create practical steps that actually move things forward.

I have expertise working with couples and families in conflict, or who are struggling with communication. I am Level II trained in the Gottman Method, and utilize this extensively with couples. My clients report successes such as trauma recovery; anxiety and depression reduction; managing existential and identity issues; gaining peace of mind; reducing stress; and controlling anger. I have counseled in mental health, addiction treatment, and criminal justice settings. I have a private practice in south Florida (family-options.com), where I supervise master's level mental health counseling and psychology trainees. In addition to Florida, I am licensed as a psychologist in California, Texas, Arizona and Iowa, and am a PSYPACT credentialed clinician, having obtained an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission, which also allows me to serve clients via telehealth in most US states. I believe therapy is meant to be a space of mutual collaboration, help work towards and help understand those aspects of your life that motivated you to seek guidance. I believe that each situation is unique, just like the individuals involved. I embrace multiple modalities that include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Self-Compassion. I thus embrace a client-centric approach of unconditional positive regard where the goal is for you to embrace your inner strength, leading to your desired clinical outcomes.
You may be someone who appears strong and capable on the outside while privately carrying stress, trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or the pressure of always having to hold everything together. I work with adults of all genders, and over the years, I have gained extensive experience helping men address the concerns that often matter most to them.
My work with men includes navigating relationship and communication difficulties, divorce or separation, fatherhood, work-related stress, anger, emotional isolation, loss of identity, depression, anxiety, trauma, and the pressure to remain strong while struggling internally. I understand that many men have been taught to suppress vulnerability or solve problems alone. Therapy with me is practical, respectful, and judgment-free—a place where you can speak honestly without feeling criticized or misunderstood.
As a South Asian therapist, I also understand how culture, family expectations, identity, immigration experiences, and intergenerational patterns can influence mental health. I welcome South Asian clients, veterans, active-duty service members, and individuals coping with PTSD, military-related experiences, major life transitions, and relationship concerns.
My approach is warm, direct, culturally responsive, and focused on meaningful change. Together, we will understand the patterns keeping you stuck, strengthen your coping and communication skills, and help you move forward with greater confidence, peace, and clarity. You do not have to navigate everything alone.
My name is David Mancuso, and at the heart of my work is a belief that every person carries an untold story—one shaped by survival, family dynamics, unspoken pain, and the longing to feel whole. I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve had to silence in order to function. My approach blends depth-oriented psychotherapy with a direct, grounded style that invites honesty, clarity, and personal evolution.
I draw from years of clinical practice, trauma-informed training, attachment theory, and my own lived experiences navigating complex family systems. Because of that background, I understand what it means to rebuild a self from the inside out. Clients often come to me during moments of transition, emotional exhaustion, identity confusion, or relational upheaval. They stay because our work helps them find their center again.
While I bring a calm and steady presence, I also show up with real engagement. I don’t sit back passively—I’m interactive, reflective, and attuned to the subtle patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate. Therapy with me is an active process of reconnecting with your original self, strengthening your internal structure, and learning to move through the world with more confidence, emotional clarity, and integrity.
Above all, I care deeply about the people I work with. My intention is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways—so you can step into a more grounded, connected, and empowered version of yourself.
Hi, I’m Julie. I’m a therapist with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges—including anxiety, depression, trauma, and major transitions. My style is warm and collaborative, grounded in trust, compassion, and genuine respect. I use an eclectic, strength-based approach to help clients build practical tools, navigate difficulties, and reconnect with what matters most. Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly understood—because healing begins when you feel seen and accepted just as you are.

First Session
In our first session, my focus is on getting to knowing you- what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from our work together, and what may have felt difficult or painful lately. I’ll ask gentle questions to better understand your experiences, your history, your strengths and the goal you have for therapy- where you want your life to be, a month, six months, a year from now. Then we’ll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You will leave the session with a better understanding of what you are facing and I can help you begin making sense of your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and identifying the next steps toward healing. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to discuss. We will begin building a foundation of trust and understanding and develop a collaborative plan for our work together. Most importantly we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I utilize a holistic, existential approach that can help individuals find balance in the face of traumatic, transformative experiences, helping them find meaning and a fulfilling self-purpose in a client-centered environment. In my approach based on IFS modality, all parts are welcome. I will provide an environment to practice listening to all parts and integrate to reach a more self direct internal system.

Do you feel overwhelmed and mentally depleted? Our thoughts, emotions, and behavior are guided by our internal compass. Sometimes we need to check our compass and make sure we are going in the right direction. This internal compass is the lens through which we see ourselves, and the world and influences our decisions.
A shift in the thought process opens the door for healing and clarity of thought. I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can gain the self-awareness you need to work through your struggles and move forward with your life. Let's work together!

My goal is to guide you toward practical strategies, renewed confidence, and lasting emotional well-being—so you can navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and hope.
Do you find yourself constantly worrying or overthinking every possible outcome? Do you feel like you must prepare for the worst just to feel in control? Maybe you struggle with uncertainty, fear making the wrong decision, or feel like everything has to be done perfectly. Anxiety can leave you feeling restless, exhausted, and stuck in patterns that affect your sleep, your relationships, and your peace of mind. Life transitions often bring us into what can feel like “stormy waters.” As Viktor Frankl wrote, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
I specialize in helping those suffering from anxiety, including health care professionals and veterans. You don't have to continue suffering. As a seasoned therapist, I can help you feel empowered to stop the cycle of worry and anxiety, find your sense of purpose, and reclaim your life.
The good news is that we've all gone through seasons of our lives when we feel this way. The first step is to reach out to someone for help. My approach is straightforward: together we will identify your goals, establish a problem-solving treatment plan, and go from there. If something is telling you it's time to begin your journey; give me a call.
I help high achieving individuals regulate stress, manage burnout, and rebuild identity so they can lead and live without feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or disconnected.

I have experience with a range of assessments for diagnosing ADHD and social skills for children.
I am a compassionate and experienced licensed clinical social worker committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. My background covers a wide range of experience working with individuals and groups of all ages, diverse backgrounds and circumstances, and in various professional settings and roles. The professional settings I have experience in range from non-profits, child/family services, crisis intervention, child/youth shelters, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private counseling. I have worked in many roles as well, including case management, social worker, counselor, teacher, supervisor, director and administrator.
The most important thing to know about me is my belief that in all of my experience, the people involved who need help and support are much more capable of handling the issues in their life than they may feel like they are at the time they come to my office. I have worked with children, families, adolescents, and adults and this has always been true. Whatever circumstance or issue causes someone to seek help, my role is to assist that person in finding ways they can handle it and with better results for them and their life. I frequently remind clients that there is one thing that every low point in their life has in common: the low points change, they pass, and things are not always like that. Our job is to move that change in a direction that benefits you and will support you in a brighter future.

I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.
