Everyone in life has a unique story. Sometimes, we need assistance guiding us through those stories. I enjoy helping children, and young adults learn coping skills to manage struggles in life. I have been in public education for over twenty years. I have worked in general education (K-12) and with the special education population (K-12). I began my career as a life skills teacher, special education co-teacher, and finally a special education counselor. The focus of my career has been working with students with behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I have also assisted school staff with their struggles.

I help adults and teens struggling with life changes, anxiety, self-harming, stressors and depression become the best versions of themselves. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I completed my undergraduate degree in Social Work at Texas Lutheran University in 2000, and then completed my master's degree in social work at The University of Texas at Austin in 2006. I am also a Registered Play Therapist. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, work towards setting goals and achieving them.

I received my education and training in understanding behavioral, emotional, learning and psychological disorders, as well as professional school counseling and mental health counseling from Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas.

I am licensed in Texas with over 20 years of Therapy experience. I have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults. I received my M.S at William Carey University in Psychology. My treatment approach is CBT, solution-focused, and client-centered. I specialize in working with individuals with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, PTSD, grief, marriage and family related problems, stress, and LGBTQ+.
